As the end of the year approaches today, its a time to reflect on the year. 2015 hasn't always been the kindest to me. My mother nearly died in march of this year, and still is suffering from alzheimers/dementia, which is an ongoing challenge that will probably never get easier as this disease progresses for myself (particularly emotionally), or my family. I severely injured my shoulder at the beginning of November, and I've had to stop doing a lot on the computer while it heals, which is extremely frustrating. This is to say nothing of the drugs to help keep the muscles from bunching up and letting me sleep. Lets just say, its not easy to work through them.

But I've had some amazing times too. I got to do my first Rainfurrest in Seattle and it was a blast. It was a huge shame what happened there, and with it moving to Spokane, I can't see myself doing it again for a while. But this presents other opportunities. Vancoufur is growing and I'll be there again and I really am looking forward to what that's going to be this year.  I got another Issue of Shifters printed, which is cool, and I'm really REALLY hoping to get the 4th done before March.

I'm hopeful that my shoulder will be better soon. There has been progress, but I have to be very careful that I don't re-injure it. I'm still doing physio and I have several doctors appointments in the new year. I really want to finish this issue and move on to the next issue. There's a lot of opportunity there to change my process. With Che being less available and some of the tools in MS 5/Clipstudio, there might be ways to make coloring faster that I can do on my own. We'll see. I'd also like to revisit Brymstone and get that going on again, as well as doing more art in general. But a lot of that hinges on getting my shoulders attended to. (both right and left are affected, and the right is neurological, which is balls)

But I want to take a moment to thank you all for your support. I know I haven't been the best at producing regularly, for various reasons, but I want you to all know just how much your support does mean to me that you've stuck around. I have so many things I want to do for you guys, ideas for the new year, but I don't want to get overly ambitious and promise things I physically can't deliver atm. We'll see how things go. But I want to make sure you all know just how much your support is appreciated and valued.

I may put up some thoughts here and see what you all think, as its important to me what you guys want to see more of/less of/think is cool or a waste of time. But that's stuff to tackle in 2016.

See you all on the other side. :)
