After watching this episode I FINALLY convinced Philip to react to this with me LOL so I'll be re-watching and reacting to episodes 1-8 with him so we can continue on together.

HAHA he was super hesitant at first cause he's a huge fan of the original and just didn't want to watch if they didn't do a good job. But now that the season is over and there's been lots of positive reviews and buzz, on top of me asking him over and over, he finally got excited about checking it out lmao

Me too!! Every episode I watched I just kept thinking about how much he'd like what they're doing with it. It's super different from the original in a lot of ways, and I'm sure he's going to miss some things that he loved that aren’t the same this time around. But there’s so much to love about this new version that I’m sure he’ll really like it anyway.

I'm exactly the same, but I haven't watched it still because apparently there is going to be a season 2 and I can't wait that long if it ended on a cliffhanger.
