Hyde, World’s Best Shoggoth

1. He didn’t try to kill us yet 2. He can have useful information 3. He’s already dead what makes us think we can even kill him, worst case scenario he starts screaming and the witch comes in

I’m really leaning towards not killing it the only concern I would have is the control the witch might have over him

Might be a friend, he could come in handy.

let’s put the vanguard tooth inside this guys mouth

I love the wording. See, is not "him", is "It". To kill It or not kill It. I don't know if I would make a friend of a undead prince. It surprises me that is so sided this vote! I am attracted to "not kill it" for getting more context of the situation, but "kill it" has also some good points: bring this zombie out of its misery, is tempting.

overall my main reasoning to not kill is because i don’t think Arthur actually can kill the guy. he’s rotted from the inside out already and animated with supernatural energies. why would Arthur be able to kill him? the prince does however feel pain seeing as how he reacted to pulling out the nail by screaming, so he’ll definitely start hollering which would alert the witch no doubt.

Whatever the situation, he is clearly but a victim to whatever has befallen him. He pleaded to us. He was conversant (willing and able). He has not shown aggression of any kind. He injured himself accidentally. Clearly he feels pain and fear. He mustn't have realized that he's undead. Trying to perform some physical task that involves a normal amount of force, and ending up snapping off one's own fingers in the process, is very much a "first-day-as-a-zombie" type mistake. The question is perhaps if it is his brooch we found in the hay? And/or if it was his (read: the prince's) castle we saw in the glass of Leng?

I'm so *very* pleased to report that this analysis held up *perfectly*. It just goes to show that love conquers all. We must *always* and *immediately* hug whatever we encounter, even if it's a hot stove. Peace and love beats C'thulhu every time ✌️☮️🌼❤️☯️🧘‍♂️🕊🏳️‍
