Not giving away the ring can be excused, worst case scenario we come off as an asshole. Giving it may complicate things unnecessarily with us having something of the orders, since we just established those people know what it is, following the same thought, we can have to use it later for any reason. I say keep, if the lack of a gift comes up I think it'll be easier to sell it as "the prince" being upset at being summoned here (he wouldn't be the only one, with Langward's reaction) than having to spin a story of how they came into possession of the ring

Evrard knows more than he is saying IMO. I’m willing to bet that eye covered witch already knows something is amiss. Arthur needs to keep as much information about him a secret for as long as possible. Otherwise he’s going to end up worse off than the sewn mouth guy.

Reposting this here from last episode: I think revealing that there are two members of the Order of the Fallen Star is too risky, as Everatte could take it as threatening. Therefore, simply saying the gift was lost along the way (since Arthur clearly does not look to be in the best shape) is best.

I’m mostly just curious as to what would happen if they give him the ring. If it even is a recognized symbol of The Order in this time and place, how would someone like Evrard react to receiving it from the prince? And would giving him the ring prompt him to give up any new information?
