Getting sick doesn’t necessarily mean dying immediately, and we know the person dying by the fire is a he. If we assume it’s Antoine, then it’s possible by him getting sick before Alia we get them both for longer. Also, Alia has been repeatedly emphasized to be the strongest of our party. Voting for Antoine I think, my reasoning: - There’s a man dying at the end of 250 and we know Vale has already died so it’s gotta be Antoine - Antoine has been itching his chest for awhile he might have The Rot - Alia is also way more helpful, even if her healing magic didn’t work on Vale it’s still HEALING magic and Antoine is a glorified hatstand for all we know (I’m so sorry ily Antoine but I’ve gotta be so fr rn)

i dont think theres necessarily a wrong option here; likely Alia will die as she says regardless, but she nay die from something else should we not pick her to be ill. I think Antoine is alive but either ill or injured as we know Arthur is not alone but the person he is with is unresponsive. Im picking Antoine bc I love women tho

For now this is simply asking who gets *sick* next, not who *dies* next. It’s safe to assume the laboured breathing by the fire is Antoine, since John told Arthur “I don’t know if he’ll survive the night” in chapter 251. So I don’t think there’s a wrong answer. If Antoine gets sick before Alia, then we still have her magic to try and help him and/or Jarthur with whatever comes next. She may not have been able to heal Vale, but that doesn’t mean she can’t help with other things — If Alia gets sick first then she is even less likely to be of use. TLDR vote Antoine ✨

If Mother Darkness was the one trying to take over the mind of Sir Vale while he was sick (rotting flesh and black fluid sounds like her) then do we really want her doing that to Alia? Whatever magic Alia has is powerful but no way is it strong enough to fight off what's essentially a goddess, especially while weakened from sickness. Why would it be a vote if the answer wouldn't change the story? My thinking is that the longer we can keep Alia healthy, the more use we'll be able to make of her power and magic. We're not voting for who will die, but who will get sick next.
