THEY ARE ENTANGLED, RIDE OR DIE. TIE THIS POLL!!!

We don’t know what we’re voting for. Who lives? Who loses? Any single vote is a coin flip. Does voting for Arthur give him a ticket home, or leave him looking down the barrel of a gun? In the end, without a question they’re beholden to, our votes don’t matter at all. Except. There's one answer whose meaning stays the same, whatever the question is: whatever happens, they'll face it together.

Lars

Just because John isn't in the booth to yell at us doesn't mean we should let a tie happen, let alone aim for one. You have to go with your gut, you can't cheat the system.

The thing is, this poll isn't like the others. I mean, this isn't a decision we're making for them. We're answering a question no one asked. I would want to assume that a tie in this situation wouldn't lead to the same outcome as with Arthur's "indecision", since this clearly isn't coming from Arthur. Also, don't you remember what Mr. Kayne said about all of this? He's excited to see which one of them wins. This is what he was referring to. Don't give him the satisfaction of finding out.  I strongly feel that whatever happens, we shouldn't favor one of them over the other. We need to show that we aren't willing to play by their rules when it comes to this. It's either both or neither. Earlier, we arrived at the conclusion that, at least partly, we are the reason why Arthur is so special in the face of all of this. We can also be what makes him and John special in this moment.

Lars

I don't know, that reasoning reminds me of how Arthur tried to pull a "I don't think he could help us anyway" trick. Mr. Kayne doesn't seem that easy to phase.

Usually, the unintended consequences are always on us: our votes, our strategies, based on the information we have. But an informed decision is impossible here. If the question was "who lives / gets the body / escapes" I would vote Arthur. If it was "who dies / decides / do we follow after they split" I would vote John. But I don't want to end up actively contributing to the option I didn't want to choose because I had to guess. No wrong answers here, no right answers here, since there wasn't a question at all. The decision seems so out of our hands this week a tie is the only thing that does feel like a choice rather than blind chance. So I vote to treat it like just another chapter without a poll and enjoy where the story takes us. And if there's a negative outcome from the tie, so be it. At least we know we're actually getting the thing we picked.

I am a little late. But I am finally caught up. While I am on the edge of my seat to see how this turns out, part of me wonders what would have been if no one voted on this one. What if's for another time- godspeed to them both.
