This may be our only chance to talk to this person! The flute will probably scare them off, *and* bring the monster is Arthur plays it wrong (high probability since we don't know what notes/tunes control the monster). We aren't prepared for flute!! 😭

We don't know a lot of things on this, but I feel in the gut that this is the only chance of finding that person (friend or foe). The flute now will acelerate the encounter with the beast or do nothing at all except for alert any intelligent being that Jack Larson is back (nobody nows that he is... unavailable) and thus loose our chances of extra info or at least an interesting scene. The monster feels like a given, we will find it eventually. And with that that flute scene we crave for so long. That is at least my gut and mostly what my mom told me when I asked her and I agreed. Heh.

I’m so proud of Arthur for remembering that knock, and that it means someone is lucid, and for discerning that person could be separate from what they’re trapped in—I feel following up on that instinct would be a great character moment to continue his momentum of seeing the cultists as people. I love the idea of using the flute, but using it *now* may scare them off—it’s associated with the Larsons and the monster after all.

If playing the flute emptied their minds then sucking air backwards into to the flute must refill them again
