Either way it knows where Arthur is.

Amai [Shadow0Haven]

The creature seems to know where everyone in the mines is, so it knows where Arthur is either way it seems. I think our best bet is to go ahead and follow the doodling friend to the obsidian lair. I feel like distracting the creature and leaving Arthur on his own as well as the new friend on their own might not be the best, but that's just my thoughts!

I refuse to use our new friend as bait! Friends don't ask friends to be bait!! I say we let them guide us there, and hope the flute will finally come in handy if or when the creature shows up. Gotta stick together!!

Tama Connatser

New friend needs protected. Using them as bait just seems exceedingly callous and self serving especially as Arthur and John plan to help everyone. Plus our friend is familiar with the area and can help identify and more quickly gather resources to help others trapped on the Eldritch Brain Grapevine. Sticking together is very important.

Korviidaze

New bestie comes with us! They're far more familiar with the mine and its resources, and could be a valuable wealth of info in an emergency. Also, maybe Arthur won't fall in a hole this time if he's got a friend to keep an extra eye out.

Oh Hell no our new friend Smeagol is staying right by our side where we can protect them Update: FUCK.

I am now more excited. It’s been a bit since Arthur was saddened by others misfortune or was led into a trap.
