Passing the flute off will be a good idea IF any of them knows how to play a flute, yes?

Thinking about how our friend in the rafters who cut themself free really wanted to help us defeat this creature, but we tried to protect them and they died anyway. Now we have another chance to let the victims of this monster exercise some actual agency! We can work together to take this thing down! I like this option for the thematic meaning, but on a practical standpoint, Arthur is also still weak from blood loss and could use some backup. Plus, using the flute requires him to take off the mask first since it covers his mouth. If he hands the flute off to someone else, they can use it while he focuses on seeing and killing this thing.

Maaan, this one is HARD. I'm going to have to say that we ask for help, though, based solely on the fact that Arthur was already in contact with everyone and they seemed to realize that he wanted to kill it immediately. I don't think that they'll need much explaining to realize what's going on when they're actually cut loose. Neither Rafters nor Arthur seemed to have any amnesiac side effects from being severed. I would think that the campfire gang would figure out pretty quickly who this enraged little English dude is and what he's up to. Also, seconding the "pass off the flute" idea, as it allows Arthur to actually focus on getting stabby.

I want to keep the people /cultists as much alive and safe as possible. I have gone back and forth several times, but I think talking to them is the best way to do that. If they don't know the plan they might rush ahead and do something to get themselves killed, if we coordinate we might give them a better chance. And if they want to run they still can, we're not compelling them to help. At least that's where I am now with my thinking.
