Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes (Patreon)

Good morning Patrons,

As we near the end of Season 3 there has been some positive and negative feedback about the way this all works. I sometimes close Polls early to give myself time to make these episodes and that rubbed many people the wrong way.

My response to this was to just say, "Okay, well then, Monday it'll close and that'll be that." which part of me is fine with, but also - the appeal of making Malevolent a one-man show is that I can do whatever I want.

So I'm changing my mind. First, to reiterate, here is...

How Malevolent Works:

The Malevolent Public Release is comprised of 5 Patreon Chapters. Every 5 Chapters makes one public "Part"

For example:
Chapters 1-5 = Part 1 "The Dark World"
Chapters 6-10 = Part 2 "The Missing Girl"
etc.

The final Chapter of every Five episodes that will eventually constitute a public "Part" will not have a Poll. It never has and it will continue to not.

Additionally, special Episodes may exist that do not follow the "Chapter xx" guideline that may not have a Poll attached to them either; such as "CODA"

As of now, every new Chapter comes out Wednesday Morning and every Poll posts Thursday morning.

Finally, sometimes the "Malevolent Entity" (which may present itself through the INVICTUS Commenting, a voice or a tweet)  will punish, poke, prod and manipulate the poll and your perception. The voice at the beginning of the Chapters is not your friend and never will be. Sometimes the voice may guilt your choices, make fun of the options or insult the results. This is part of the game.

From here on out this is how Polls and Episode Drops will work:
(Eastern Standard Time)

The Chapters:
- Every week a new Chapter of Malevolent will be released.
- They will be released anytime starting Friday morning after the previous episode drops, the latest being Wednesday morning at 7:00am est
- I will not announce when the episode will be released, unless I feel like it, but you can watch the official Discord for hints or hell - make a betting pool. (just include me will you?)

The Poll:
- Every week (other than for reasons stated above) a new Poll for Malevolent will be released.
- The Poll is guaranteed to be open all day Thursday.
- The Poll will close any time starting Friday morning at 7:00am, through the weekend.
- For those statistically minded folks, I'd say there is a 25% chance a poll will close on Friday, 50% chance it'll close by Saturday, 75% chance it'll close by Sunday and a 100% chance it'll close Monday at 7:00am

What Does This Mean?:  (Eastern Standard Time)
- Every Wednesday Morning at 7:00am a New Chapter of Malevolent will be posted, if it hasn't already been.
- Every Thursday Morning at 7:00am the Poll will be posted.
- Starting from when the Poll opens you have at minimum 24 hours to vote, at maximum until the following Monday.
- If you want a guarantee that you'll have a vote you'll have to make sure you drop by here within the 24 hours between Thursday at 7:00am and Friday at 7:00am, otherwise it's fair game.

So, these are the changes!

Thank you so much for your support. As this show grows I'm sure we'll have growing pains together however all I want to do is share new Episodes and keep making this show the way I want.

All that being said...

Brace yourselves.
