I feel both have merits! So may flip back and forth…

Jo

I think investigating the woman’s room first is a good idea. There’s a chance that they could hear Marie returning and Arthur could get out of the room and feign ignorance. Besides, Marie let them into the attic willingly and if Scratch can project/exert influence from the floor below, there might not be a lot to find in the attic space that they couldn’t go back later and look around for

I feel like it'd be just like Harlan to have Marie walk into the room and catch them in the act. plus John is usually right about choices, historically. there's probably more evidence in the other room but I don't know if the risk is worth it? I'll probably be outvoted though XD

L

The woman's room surely has more information- but do we want to be caught and be left without a room to stay in once again?

Teakettle

Does it tho? That's a room where she was tied in. There's a strong possibility that the room in the attic is where she stayed - the cross imprint and the window glass might be clues!

K.M.

Alright- I’ve scared myself into thinking investigating the woman’s room will be a bad idea. Thinking of this like a game- you always investigate where you start first, because you might not get to go back. The crack in the floor, the cross imprint on the wall, the repaired glass window! Lots to see in their current room- I want to know if there are notes in the desk! Something hidden under the bed frame! Come on everyone- time to think like an investigator!

With all due respect to Arthur, I trust John’s judgement more!

Scottie

I just want a closer look at that attic window ❤

Dipity

I want to find out more about Marie and her family member! I'm hoping the attic will tell us more about them (and maybe keep us on Marie's good side so she'll be willing to talk later).

Dang it. I started with the woman’s room, hoping to get through it before Marie gets back. Maybe changing my mind, though.

Tony Pepperoni (AnonymousSong)

There's so much in the attic room that they haven't explored! It could be information about who that woman used to be

Teakettle

I really want to know what's up with the cross, the window and the other stuff in the attic room. Plus we can play dumb with Marie if we stay where we are!

K.M.

Pssst cat pic bribes in the discord for voting attic 👀 😂

If Marie finds us in the room she’ll be maaaad. We promised we wouldn’t give her any trouble, and what’s the first thing we do? Jail break the entity possessing her sister’s(?) body. There’s plenty we can investigate inside the attic that could give us clues about how mr scratch came to this building!

Dani Ruggeri

Is the attic first! An opportunity for good old fashion detective work, they are small details like the repaired window that we won't get another chance to peruse, I'm sure.

I think we should investigate the attic, if there's a high turnover in the room (which um. may not be due to people actually leaving.), then we're bound to find some info that marie may have overlooked.

Hecate Noctis

We’ve already been staying in the attic. She wouldn’t keep anything up there that she wouldn’t want someone else to see. We may never get the chance to look in her room again. She’s going to be upset either way most likely. I’d rather ask for forgiveness than permission 😄

Ruthanne Reid (Trin)

Wouldn't the room make sense? Get to the place Marie wouldn't want him in first, get it out of the way, then return to the room that's "his," rented, and easier to search at his leisure?
