Remember- this is the last chapter of the part, so something is gunna go down! Lots of pros and cons to weigh… can’t wait to see where this one lands

I say let's head out-- we came to ny for a reason (so arthur thinks anyway) and i feel like we'll be caught lying to marie if we talk to her

Kenza Breton

I'm sure no matter what we pick it'll bite us in the ass, so i want to help people ❤️

Layla

It's too soon to talk to Marie, I feel that we're gonna have to tell Marie we let her sister out if we talk to her now!

Teakettle

I'm a simple woman, if either Arthur or John want to help, I vote to help. Even if it blows up in our faces.

Jon Stout

Arthur needs to return to his true nature, bumbling his way through trying to see the best in people— even at great risk.

Amy

I think we should help!

BeastlyDeath

I feel like helping Marie will get us closer to the cult than we may realize. Especially since we now know scratch's symbol is on the bestiary cover as well

Dani Ruggeri

help and keep learning, yassss

I don't think we can trust Marie. She invited Arthur to sleep right above something that feeds on suffering in dreams. That's either cruelly careless or intentionally putting Arthur in harm's way. Also, the person she already brought in to help her, Oscar, does not seem to trust her much at all.

Erik

I don't trust Marie one bit. She seems very particular, bordering on judgemental, and proud of it. Oscar seems to hate her guts. She proudly proclaimed like a mobster queen that she would do anything for her family. Well good for you, lady. So I take it that serving us as lunch to that thing is then suddenly A-OK or what? And didn't she say outright that Scratch was her own husband? How old is this woman? I don't mind pretending to help her. But frankly, she is in cahoots with Mr Scratch. Doubtless. That explains her regular bedtimes every night on the hour. All this being said, we should let John cut his teeth on some detective work. Just don't turn our back on Marie for two seconds or it'll be a real short P.I. career for John.

Erik

And people, what on Earth would compel her to take in a lodger under these circumstances? Never mind letting the poor sap sleep right above the thing? Look at her house, she doesn't need the money! Why would a wealthy and fragile old lady rent out exclusively to out-of-town male loners? What, does she *want* a predator moving in? Then it hit me... She's the predator. And don't forget she just turned the mattress over when the last lodger drowned in his own blood in that same bed we now sleep in. The lady'll turn out to be Ted Bundy's fairy godmother or something, I'm tellin' ya...

Lol tbh I just wanna make Harlan do more old lady voice, but good points all around
