I'm straight in with a finalised vote this week. I am for taking the active stance and attempt to get away. The Butcher creeps me out and I don't want to indulge his crush - in short I want him as far away from me as quickly as possible.

I highly doubt struggling will benefit us here. Chances are all it will do is convince the Butcher to speed up the process. Staying quiet and gathering information seems the safer option to me.

I'm all for listening in. No way we're escaping through this by running. Probably best to gather info.

This one is a toughie. Even before recent developments regarding the Butcher, it's been thoroughly established that he's a real monster of a man. I'm not sure how anyone is going to muscle their way through him even if he is caught unawares. Which given his history, he is a trained professional through and through (and being touched by eldrich stuff seemingly only benefits his skill set). I vote to absorb info and recalculate not because it is the better of the two, but because I see the alternative not as beneficial as others do. I am resigned to the fact that there is no escaping this. No more running. Time to turn and face the hunter and look him straight in the eyes before he pulls the trigger. Arthur is a man not unfamiliar with pain. But if the Butcher starts with Arthur's left hand...

I am reminded of that one choice back in s2, where Arthur could try to escape a monster or look up information about it in the bestiary. we chose information, and it was useless. I say this time we put all efforts into getting the fuck out of here.

Based on POV, I think we’ll hear the conversation with Larson, so it’s a matter of whether Arthur does (or interupts the call by being too noisy with attempted escape). Larson / the cult is Arthur’s reason to be in New York, so listening and “absorbing” as much as possible could be very informative to that larger goal and might help Arthur make some connections and spark ideas, even to address the apparently occult/eldritch element The Butcher revealed about himself. He’s proven he can mentally manipulate folks when he’s got his wits about him and the right info to work with (Marie and Oscar), so gathering more info and a moment to adjust and collect his thoughts could make the difference in his approach to talking with Collins while working on alt escape plans. The shoulder being bandaged gives any physical escape effort a bit better chance than if it had been left untended. Arthur is scrappy, but has consistently lost physical altercations with Collins when less freshly injured in a major joint. While I’d enjoy feral Arthur scrapping for his life against The Butcher, I’d also really enjoy a more collected and informed Arthur upping the psychology game against The Butcher’s physical threat.

I think there's no way Arthur would be able to escape this easily and, even if he did, the Butcher would just be back after him and he'd be back stuck in this same situation or worse. I think we should learn all that we can while we have the chance. The Butcher is smart so we have to be smart too.

I hope yellow gets to keep john's pinky as a treat

While I don't think Arthur can say anything that'll stop the butcher from doing his work, I want to listen in for lore reasons

I'm extremely curious to hear what the Butcher has to say but there's no way in hell I would just sit there and not try to escape. Loose our Goose! (It's Arthur. He's our silly goose.)
