for the first time Arthur has allies all around him. let's use that to our advantage. stand your ground.

If the reason to run is because Arthur wants to put distance between the butcher and Daniel, who's to say he's going to chase him? Not to mention the other reason to run is to have a better chance of survival if the butcher does have a gun, but if he does, he'd most likely shoot Daniel and whoever else before giving chase. He knows how to track Arthur, he knows how to find him, and he knows he has time. He won't hesitate to wrap up the loose ends with Daniel before coming for Arthur. Staying is the best option, to talk and distract him, and hope the detective can catch the butcher off guard.

I think keeping the Butcher distracted is the right move. And I just realized, what if we saddle him with Mr. Scratch?

It’ll be a mess either way probably, but keeping the butcher in place might be the best option for now. If Arthur runs, there’s no guarantee the butcher will give chase. At least if Noel has a gun to his back that might give him pause.

I am firmly of the opinion that Athur is NOT the Butcher's prime target right now. Daniel is, as the loose end. And Larsen has said that he wants to speak with Arthur. Killing Arthur in this situation would ofc not be much of an issue for the Butcher (what's Larson going to do? dock his pay? oooh spooky) but Arthur's presence would make this situation uncomfortably chaotic for a cold, calculated professional like the Butcher, and that's the most upper hand Arthur can hope to gain on him. I say distact the Butcher.

Oh I forgot to post! I'm voting stay because a) it's what Arthur wants to do and b) I think it'll hopefully give us the best chance of saving people. I might be completely wrong obviously but I hope not.

I feel like that’d be a bad idea - let’s not give Mr. Scratch a good body. I say we put the stone on someone who’s on their deathbed, since we’re at the hospital anyway. At least Mr. Scratch won’t have a good body then.

Shooting Arthur point blank in a hospital doesn't sound like a satisfying way to kill someone who is both worthy prey and a potential kindred spirit. Arthur just demonstrated to the Butcher that they do think alike and, given how Collins tends to share his personal business with his victims, that seems valuable. I doubt he'd want to kill Arthur quickly or without a chance for a chat.
