"The Buff Manly Man"

- Strong, masculine, lots of muscles, might or not be boastful

"The Pretty Boy"

- Also know as "bidanshi" or "beautiful boy, slender than the buff man, this kind of guy is usually the ones you find in Shojo, boybands and etc. Usually charming and confident.

"Some Nerd"

- You know the kind, glasses, usually sweaters and hoodies, not popular, geek.

"The Average Guy"

You know when the story starts with "He was just an average guy"? It's this dude

You went to a lot of effort to post this for me to just say "All of them." Seriously. There is no wrong answer. All are good. (though personally I don't like seeing a buff guy become a frail slip. Much prefer buff guys becoming buff amazons) However, I would like to point out that other really good options include "the overweight slob" and "the elderly man," where they end up becoming fit and/or young again.

Really it depends on the scenario. Nerdy Trans boy becoming the bombshell woman he's always wanted? Yeah. Big burly Jock becoming the captain of the cheer team/anime club after a little too much sexism? Sign me up. A scooby doo esc group being tfed into their polar opposites and catching someone that just happened to set up shop in an actual haunted house? Hell yeah! (Feel free to use that idea for halloween, my treat.) Point is, there really isn't a 'perfect' subject, only roles to be filled for the greater narritive

I'd say it's less a specific archetype and more that I enjoy tf's where the character becomes the opposite archetype. Like a nerd is turned into a sexy, confident woman or vice versa where a jock is turned into a cute, meek little nerd

Always enjoy Big Burly Jock or Horrible Jerk getting transformed. Big Burly Jock especially if they are Horrible Jerk, and usually to someone who is a little....thicc and heavy.
