Gift of Hedone: Water Race Reveal (Shark) (Patreon)

So I originally did a Garchomp human form ages ago, and the more I thought about it was... why not use that as the base for the shark race for Gift of Hedone? I would love your thoughts on this though. Do you like the overall direction, is there aspects you dont like?One silly little aspect I liked was the hair buns looking a little like fish. Well that was the direction/visionI will say with the purple hair they don't look too water race-type right now, but I wanted to create a goth shark baddie haha.

I like it, only think I would say is the fin on top looks a little weird, maybe move it to the back or make it smaller

Hair color could be used for like harder version of enemies if u decide to do that. Like the ones with blue hair are the rank and file while the ones with purple hair are the “elites” or something like that.

A monstrous form could draw inspiration from Kisame from Naruto, when he turns into his true shark form.

I think the pink actually works great with the natural skin tone. Could also work for colder tones to contrast warmly in a way that says 'coral reef'. Is the 'shark-skin' going to have any patterns/variants, or is this darker skin the final result for the shark-y elements?

Remember that in tropical areas of the world, fish are very vibrant in color. So you can have a vibrant goth baddie all you want Pixel! 😃

Not sure about the head fin personally, but I like that it looks like it has piercings/decoration for a fun idea of unique body customization.

I really like how it looks :D Maybe the purple doesn't give it that much of a water-race type as you mention, but still looks cool. Maybe if you use more blue with some green or purple accents you could get a more water race look. And i really like the detail of the character having fish style buns
