Hello you wonderful deviants,I just wanted to share that the repair function is working, and explain how it will workFirstly, repair will take into account what gear you have equipped. it does not look at all gear in inventory. If you have nothing to repair, you will not be able to click it

Once you have gear to repair like below (in red when highlighting the gear), it will show how much Monster Essence you require. And it will always be the essence based on the region you are in.

However if you do not have enough Monster Essence you will not be able to select/click it

The more decay you have, the more it will cost:

below image on the right is just an example - you will only see the left section with the Repair Gear and Leave Options)

However, it is calculated on the equipment level, so if there is only certain gear you want to repair or can afford to repair, you can simply unequip gear you don't want to repair and it will cost less

below image on the right is just an example - you will only see the left section with the Repair Gear and Leave Options

Arvom in the comments had a really good point that it would be frustrating to go back and forth out of dialogue to your inventory, back into dialogue.I understand there may be a better solution, but to make things easier - I have made an adjustment so you can freely enter your inventory screen to unequip etc - and escaping the inventory screen will take you right back to where you were.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about how this works :)

I like the system you came out with, but I don't really like that you have to leave the repair menu to then unequip and try again at a lower cost. If it's possible, I would prefer an HUD like the last image where you can select/deselect what to repair, see the price changing dynamically, and when you hover over the button, you can see all the details, all in all good job on the progress ^^

Hey Arvom, thank you so much for the feedback, really great point. I have just added an edit to the end of the post, and had time to make an adjustment. I know its not as ideal as having the equipment right there next to you, but now you no longer have to exit the dialogue, you can go straight to your inventory, and back where you left off without reinitiating dialogue.

Very nice, this solve an other problem that i was thinking of repairing multiple items of the same kind, the way i proposed it wouldn't solved that, i'm happy that i inspired you to make it this way. I would suggest a small button on the repair window that take you to the inventory, i have a feeling that it can create conflicts this way (just a feeling really). As always, you did a really good job!
