Creator Tier — Build on the Sandstorm Foundation

The Creator Tier is intended for designers and makers who want to create their own original additions using selected Sandstorm 3D Designs models as a foundation.

Active Creator Tier members receive a limited license to add original decorative elements, attachments, accessories, textures, lettering, artwork, functional features, or other approved additions to eligible Sandstorm 3D Designs core models.

The original core design must remain intact and recognizable. Members may build onto the core design but may not reshape, remove, replace, distort, separate, or otherwise modify its protected core structure.

Creator Tier members may sell finished physical products made from their approved Creator Tier designs while their membership and commercial license remain active.

Digital files—including original files, modified files, merged files, sliced files, remixes, or files containing any part of a Sandstorm 3D Designs core model—may not be sold, shared, transferred, uploaded, traded, gifted, or redistributed.

This tier does not transfer ownership of any Sandstorm 3D Designs model. All original models and core designs remain the intellectual property of Sandstorm 3D Designs.

Fan-Inspired Artwork and Creator Responsibility

Creator Tier members may add fan-inspired artwork, themes, symbols, lettering, colors, or decorative elements to eligible Sandstorm 3D Designs core models.

The member is solely responsible for ensuring that their additions, finished products, product listings, photographs, advertisements, titles, descriptions, tags, and sales practices comply with all applicable copyright, trademark, intellectual-property, licensing, marketplace, and other legal requirements.

Permission to use a Sandstorm 3D Designs core model does not grant the member permission to use characters, logos, names, artwork, trademarks, trade dress, or other intellectual property owned by another person or company.

Members creating or selling fan-inspired products must:

Avoid claiming that the product is official, licensed, approved, sponsored, or endorsed by the original rights holder

Use their own product photographs, descriptions, artwork, and marketing materials

Clearly identify the product as fan-inspired where appropriate

Display their own suitable fan-art or intellectual-property disclaimer in every applicable product listing and advertisement

Accept full responsibility for any copyright, trademark, licensing, takedown, marketplace, or legal claims arising from their additions or sales

A suggested disclaimer is:

“This is an independently created fan-inspired product. It is not an official product and is not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any referenced brand, franchise, company, or rights holder. All trademarks and copyrighted properties belong to their respective owners.”

Sandstorm 3D Designs does not review, approve, authorize, or accept responsibility for a member’s use of third-party intellectual property.

Sandstorm 3D Designs may require a member to remove artwork, listings, or products that could create legal risk, cause confusion, or harm the Sandstorm 3D Designs brand.

Not every Sandstorm 3D Designs model is automatically eligible for Creator Tier use. Eligible core models will be specifically identified by Sandstorm 3D Designs.
