Now that's what I call a sunny disposition folks!
A very fun idea this time! We see Tenna from Deltarune, gaining access to a very colorful set of characters in his Dark World, and of course, his first instict is to give them all jobs, all that they need to do is sign one of his Mentally Binding Contracts~
Strap in Folks, you're about to see some quality broadcasting from the writting hands of the Patron that got rewarded this Pic, lets read it together Folks! Now... Don't touch that dial...
A golden contract rested upon my lap, with a tall CRT-headed fellow looming over me, and it was very clear to all in the room that I really didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. So, as if I’d made a job out of signing contracts thousands of times in a row, my hand automatically began to write out an elegant yet simple signature. (Why worry about making it complex, after all.) I can remember how I couldn’t help my eyebrow raising higher than I thought was possible, as with every drop of ink staining the page, caused it to glow ever brighter. Until the faithful moment where I’d finished confirming my place on the paper. Removing my pen from the paper, that golden glow just shone even better than any light could, maybe even brighter than the light from the Light World! Tenna stamped the contract, with a Logo of his face, and that’s when the contract’s glow just beamed into me like I’d been hit by some kind of lazer danmaku! The effects were basically instant, the terms and conditions of the contract repeating hundreds of times per second, slamming terms within my brain that I understood like the back of my hands, effortlessly. The fact I was not just glowing from the light being beamed into my face, but the barrage of euphoria surging through me was effective in making me want to understand everything. Proper etiquette for how I should appear on the screen, my understanding of just what that meant. Being on TV was so much different from reading a newspaper, yet in the moment, I just felt so much pride in that I was going to be on TV. Having my back straight, with a giant smile, being friendly in the tone and vocals of my voice to make sure the audience was comfortable, yet focused on me. Doing all that while making sure that they get the information they need and want to keep watching? I remember having a giant smile on my face, but now it just seems like so much work. Still, I understand it more than anything in the world, and how important it is. Guess that’s the point of the contract, and what I must do.“I LOVE TV! OBEY TENNA! IT’S TV TIME!” Those phrases just kept repeating in my mind, over, and over again. Like an audio file that was stuck on loop, but it was my own voice saying it in my own mind. Empathising that now, these were my true feelings, at least when I first signed the contract. Tenna already had us completely relying on him, so having that reliance turn into adoration was easier than I could have really expected. My eyes transformed into yellow shining stars, and in this state, the contract and fine print was law. Each time the mantra repeated, the core of my new soul, it felt like my doubts and fears were being pushed aside for pride and desire. Loving TV was paramount to loving myself, because I was a part of that now, I always was, but this just seemed to open my eyes to that fact. Obeying Tenna just made sense, as if we did well, we’d be on TV, which we loved and that meant we’d be doing Tenna a favour. It all just fed into itself, the pride of being on TV, and the desire to obey Tenna, was like honey that had enraptured me and kept me in a loop. Everything about me just seemed slightly different, like, another side of my personality or something, injected into me for the amusement of my new boss. My posture was now perfectly straight, even though just moments prior I was lounging like I was home alone and trapped in the infinite boredom of recent days. My legs squished together, like the prim and proper lady I must present myself as, which made me feel the squish my thighs had when they’re that close together. When in trance, I at least don’t have to feel embarrassed about that, though my dress at least… would have hidden it well. I can still feel the big smile I had when I was under that trance. It felt wonderful at the time, a perfect showcase as to how I was practically in love with everything to do with what was going on. The contract I just signed had given me a new life and purpose, and I was learning so much! Plus, the idea of more work, doing more for Tenna? That was the most blissful feeling ever, it made me feel like I had a purpose. Now though, it just feels like my mouth hurts. My eyes were full of stars and as wide as plates, ready and eager to do whatever was told of her. I felt like a kid, staring up into the sky, having the whole world open to me. To be remembered, and not left forgotten, I guess he poured his own desires into my own being. Of course, that was just the dream, following whatever Tenna wants, and Tenna’s dreams were our own dreams. There was no resistance as the paper and pen was taken off me, what use did I have for those anyway. It wasn’t like I was going to go to a competitor, even now, the idea just seems completely impossible for me to even comprehend. There’s nothing for us outside of this gig, we’re nothing without Tenna. Of course, when I first met up with Tenna, things just seemed a little different. Back when I was wearing my usual, of a white shirt with red accents, and a long, rather narrow, black skirt. “So, you’re offering me free food, drinks and a stable job?” I was smart enough to know it seemed too good to be true, but I was still going to accept his free tea… time. “Of course, darling! Things are looking up, after all! We’ve got cable, and we’re connected to the wide world of Cable! Not just the channels we could play, but the channel we could MAKE! Our own stamp in the world, a chance to truly be BIG!” Tenna’s enthusiasm was exhausting at points, but I couldn’t help but believe him in some sort of way. I think it was just the small amount of hope in my heart wanting to cling onto something. “After that Spammy Mailman ripped me off, that is…” And now the atmosphere seemed dangerous, without knowing what exactly was going on, I couldn’t help but skim the contract over once more. Just trying to figure out something I could say to get him off that train of thought. “All that, and what I have to do is run your… weather forecast? Am I… really the right person for this job?” There was a lot of legal jargon, I’m not a lawyer of sorts, but even I know most of this is just to distract me from the more important fine print, the fine print he was holding extremely tightly in his arms. “Ms. Naege, anyone who can predict the atmosphere has to be the perfect pick for this job! Predicting the atmosphere is what this job is truly about, that’s how Lanino and Elnina… did… it…” His voice trailed off, as I just sipped my drink. More… nervous than anything else, yet I didn’t dare run. Even then, I knew that I wasn’t given much choice in all of this. “Well, unlike those two, I know things won’t be ruined this time.” His smile turned… extremely sinister. Like, I was trapped in a cage, with a hungry youkai (ironic phrasing.). “After all, what are you, really?” A deep sigh slipped out of my mouth, slumping even harder into the soft sofa. I could try to deny his claims, but the years toiling away underneath a bed were just proof that he wasn’t wrong. “A Darkner, based upon a box of DVDs, and Video Games on a disk…” A big round of applause was signaled to me, from all across the room somehow, despite us two being the sole people here. “Exactly! Useless, without someone to plug you in and still useless some sort of way to showcase you to the world. I wouldn’t had asked, if I didn’t want to give you all a chance to share in the happiness we’ll show the world.” So, he got out the last page of the contract, and placed it right in my hands. “Come on, let’s make the world remember what’s important. If we have to do it by force, then we’ll make them smile.”This was an ominous sign, the atmosphere in the air was proof of that. But, he wasn’t wrong, if I had refused, I’d just go back to doing nothing. Being without a purpose in this world hurts, like you’ve done something deeply wrong and you don’t deserve any sort of happiness. Tenna was giving me that happiness and I couldn’t refuse. “Well, at least things shouldn’t be boring from now on, right?” “Trust me, we’ll have a great time.” With that, I began to sign the contract, without letting myself have a chance to read it and back down, as dangerous of an idea it truly was… Tenna picked up the pen and contract from my loyal arms, which must have been seconds from his perspective, he came over and patted me on my head. Affection from Tenna, I know that had me over the moon and back five times over. “Oh, darling, you’re looking like you’re 10 years younger already! We haven’t even gotten you into a proper weather forecaster’s outfit, so let’s get you in your new clothing!” With a flower growing on his nose, and a big point to our new destination, I stood up like I was just a toy soldier, and began to march with the utmost loyalty to my new uniform. Tenna practically glided across the floor to get to our destination, while he seemed almost static in how he moved, I was more like a looping animation. Unable to change in any of my positions, as all of the drawings had been drawing at this point. Arms swung in a perfect rhythm, once they reached the end of their arc, they swung back and swapped places over and over. The rhythm, of course, was my footsteps. Large stomps of my feet, that caused more joyous pleasure to coat my body in an invisible glowing light. I was less of a manifestation of the object I was based on, and more like a toy doll based upon the character. Well, it’s not like I was thinking that as I marched, there was nothing in my mind apart from the mantra. All I had to do was OBEY TENNA.The S Room, for the Stars! That, of course, included me now. I don’t know if I currently see it as a complement right now, though. “Alright, let’s get you dressed!” A clap of his hands, and the wardrobe opened, revealing multiple copies of the same outfit. A leotard, with latex leggings with puffy sleeves (surprisingly similar to my regular outfit), and a lighting bolt for a tie. Despite the exceptionally strange outfit for a weather reporter, I wasted no time in discarding my old dress and shirt, leaving only my hat, hair and veil. That was the moment I stopped being myself. “Now, what do ya think?” With a snap of his fingers, I think… I snapped back into consciousness. In the moment, the outfit was more amusing than anything else, Tenna was my boss now, so I believed he knew best. Even so… “Well, I don’t know how many weather reporters wear leotards like this, pretty raunchy for one of these programs, no?” Guess this was proof the contract worked, even when I think I’m not under trance, I know so much more about TV and reporters, guess it was just so she’d do a better job and explain things clearly to the audience? “Really, I’d thought you’d LOVE the new outfit. I made it myself, you know~” With that hidden command, my eyes turned back into stars, my back straightened once more, as it seemed my entire body seemed a bit more ready to go. I gave a mighty salute, and a light bounce from my breasts, which thanks to the much more revealing clothing, were certainly quite the decent size. The fact that my entire body, but especially those, seemed to perk up at any sign of attention, helped matters there. In addition, my thighs squeezed tightly, showcasing that squeeze to the world and I could feel my behind squeeze together in excitement. That euphoric feeling really did wonders on me. “I LOVE TV! And, I love this new outfit, Boss! I’m ready to make the whole world love staying inside during any sort of weather to watch our shows!” “Atta girl, now that I know it works, let’s get the first show on the road, while I get your next act ready! Head to the stage for me, okay! You’ll wake up then, just so you can give a proper weather report. Just read the teleprompter, darling, and you’ll be winning in no time!” With that, he glided off to some other poor sucker, and I marched towards the stage. While my dress was able to hide a lot of my features, this new outfit didn’t. Long legs marched, displaying themself to a crowd of nobody, with every step allowing the curves on those things to get a full display. My hips swaying with each step somehow, was another hidden secret now revealed to the world, while my ample breasts jiggled as I walked. There was nothing going on in my mind here, just the fact I LOVE TV, OBEY TENNA, IT’S TV TIME! Arriving just outside of the shining lights, where I knew my show would be on, I stood and was released from my trance. It wasn’t time to go live yet, but already I’m just so exhausted. The overwhelming positivity in my body, the fact I’d have so much to do, stuff that I both understand perfectly but have zero experience in doing? Plus, while I was able to joke with Tenna, this outfit just feels wrong. I’m not myself anymore. Well, whatever. A deep sigh escaped my mouth, as I let myself stretch, before slumping a bit. Just do this job for Tenna, and you get free food and something to do, that’s what I wanted, right? “We’ll be live in 5… 4…” Well, there it is. I began to step closer to the stage, a blush creeping on my face from the embarrassment from all this, yet I could feel the bags within my eyes as well. “3… 2..” I have so many questions at this point, but, I don’t care anymore. Everything’s ready, so I should be as well. I shouldn’t risk letting Tenna down. “1…” With that, I marched into the overwhelming light, just like what I signed my new life on.
