Hello All!

Another great enjoyable episode & only ONE more to go, so sad! Was plenty of comedy, a good deal of action and a sprinkling of emotion. Perfect balance. My heart broke for Inara here, she really isn't helping herself keeping those feelings hidden. Now she's leaving??? Exqueeze me??? She better not go anywhere!

I'm not feeling great today and I don't wanna record the last one when I'm feeling low so I will hopefully record tomorrow for you guys <3 and I HAVE SERENITY so that will be coming everyone!

My take on the scene between Inara and Mal at the end was that they knew they had feelings for each other now, and couldn't deny it, so Inara felt she had to leave because Mal would not be comfortable in a relationship with her while she was still conducting her business. I imagine that the scene was written before cancellation, so the writers had a plan to bring Inara back somehow in season 2, or episode 20.

Nandi plays Matt Donovan's mother (Kelley Donovan) in The Vampire Diaries. I am not ready for the last episode.

Josee (Griffe)

In the finale scene, Inara says she learn something from Nandi : that if you stay with people, built something (a family) with them, you get attached and don't want to leave. BUt Nandi said about Inara that she didn't like complication. Falling in love (with the crew, with the ship, with Mal) complicates her life and she doesn't know how to deal with the repercussion so she leaves. On Mal's end, he says he doesn't ask anything from her: he just wants the truth of their feelings out in the open. Knowing him from Ariel and the way he had not think past let Jayne die when they hit atmo, Malcom didn't think it thru here either. He knows he wont have a relationship with Inara, but he didn't see pass the moment, didn't see the complications his confession would bring to their life on board. Hurt and surprise as he is by Inara's decision, I think she made it easy for him (and for her) by leaving.

It was said best in "Captain America - The first avenger" You have to make a stand against bullies, or they'll just keep coming. Mal knew that and had to know that the women were ready to take a stand and fight for their home. The bad guy dying was predictable, but so satisfying. I don't think that his wife will be a problem, it seemed pretty clear that she didn't care for him. I hope you feel better soon.
