Hello All!   

Peter is the most smitten kitten for Olivia, and I am here for it! I feel for her in this one, she opens up about her past and it's a painful one. Also creepy that he leaves her notes each year - there has to be more there. Walter was on point with his comedy in this one too! Many laughs. This show is brilliant so far! Makes me excited to watch more.

The moment where Walter picks up on Olivia’s body language was an early moment to me that really spoke about his character. This is a man who knows how to use being underestimated, which I love because it adds a depth to his character. We have seen that he does actually genuinely struggle with some kind of cognitive issues at times, but the fact that we can see sharpness returning to him in moments like this shows a mischievousness that I find incredibly endearing. It’s such a small moment, but when Walter does the demonstration with the papaya, there’s a moment where the camera shows Peter trying to hide a smile and it gets me every freaking time. I just love the moment of genuine, silly joy that he’s experiencing with his father in that moment without thinking about it . Soulful looks between Peter and Olivia! The chemistry is chemistry-ing! I like what you say about how it seems like Peter is interested in Olivia almost immediately, but Olivia (while obviously appreciating his presence and starting to enjoy him as person) is not thinking of him that way at this point. I like that the show is letting her have time after everything that happened with Agent Scott, and even if they are clearly teasing some chemistry with Peter they are also not going to rush the way some narratives would. It’s the kind of thing that made me feel secure as an audience member early on, that I was going to be in good hands, story-telling wise.

whoa, you've never read or SEEN the HP books before?! lol yeah, order of the phoenix (OotP for short btw) was easily the biggest book i read as a kid. i wasn't the biggest reader but i was still a pretty frequent visitor to the bookstore and i honestly can't think of a larger book i read in that section prisoner of azkaban was my fav btw

at this point, i don't think peter's even been to her house in order to take the letter lol. it would be sweet though. but did you notice something about the letter? no return address and no stamp which means someone dropped it off by hand, presumably the step dad p.s. i didn't even notice the fan

Just started the Harry Potter books as well, never read the books or saw the movies, LOVE the first book.

I didn't notice the fan, so no worries Dak. That was a lovely gift from AC10! I just assumed you had read the books and if I had known you hadn't I would have sent you my copies. I purchased them when they were originally released and was lucky enough to get hardcover 1st edition/1st pressing of all of them (U.S. pressings of course). I haven't read them in many years. I'm going to meet a new member of the family this coming week and I think I might gift them to the family. She's still a baby, but she does have an older sister. Very good, albeit gruesome in places, episode. I love that you get such a kick out of Walter because I knew you would; he's the perfect comedic foil. I can't believe we're already six episodes in! Thanks as always Dak!

It's ironic that I'm watching this on my birthday and it just happens to be Olivia's birthday in this episode 😂 😊. I don't know why but I thought that was cool. Love this show so much. Definitely binge worthy and it just keeps getting better in my opinion.
