What in the what did Holden just experience???? SERIOUSLY?! What the hell was that?! Melba has been spotted and she scares the crap outta me, I swear she's possessed? Anna also seems very out of character, maybe the death of a passenger will snap her out of this trance that she's been in? Loved to see Draper again, rip her boss though! Plus, Ian, we got Drummer!! Always a win right :)

Ahh yes, the episode that absolutely scrambles everybody's mind. Nobody comes out of this episode without wondering what the hell did they just see! Of course The Expanse will always answer the questions it scrambles the audience's head with so brace yourself for the rest of this Season 3 ride because it's just getting started!

I'm probably talking nonsense at this point... Feel free to tell me. Talking about the protomolecule touching buttons in people's heads making them experiense things as if they are regular reality... Like maybe EVERYONE in this ring gate thing is just experiencing what the protomolecule is pushing buttons to make them experience.... What if all of us are doing this now with you??? Like, there are hundreds of us.... Here now.... Just one of you... What if all of us The Expanse fans are pushing buttons and You Dakara are only experiencing The Expanse through all of us now willing it into existence because hundreds of us are pushing buttons and making you see these episodes as if they are really happening in your real life.... Think about it.

"Some of the visuals in this episode blew my mind... I mean I've always been really intrigued by the protomolecule whenever it's been shown, I think it, just, it looks beautiful, Terrifying!!!, but also beautiful... YES!!!! OMFG YES..... I love it. Wait wait wait... I know it has killed a lot of people... But it didn't know that... It didn't decide to kill a lot of "humans".... It was just tasked with building the ring.... Just like we humans build roads and don't care about all the ants we pave over with asphalt and concrete.... We don't even think about it.... Why should they???

I'm loving all these theories you're coming up with, keep them coming 😁 Btw. you asked if the ship Anna is on is continually sending info back to Chrisjen. Last episode we found out that the martians had to send a small ship (skiff) back out of the ring to broadcast signals to the outside. So unless they keep sending ships back out to relay info, they can't communicate with anyone outside the ring.

Since Dawes and The Expanse crept it's way into your last Fringe reaction, I think it's only fair that the favour was returned. I'm with Isak there, bring on the theories Dak! Listening to people letting loose is one of the best parts of the show. I've always thought the way you've always handled and laid out your opinions over the years, would lend itself so well to The Expanse. Keep 'em coming. Of all the reactions to the show I've followed, yours are hands down, my favourite.

When Holden completed the circuit, he was shown the protomolecules journey up to that point. He was shown were it came from, and that this is one place, among many, where they are. Not sure what he saw, but it looked like an alien world dying, which would make the protomolecule ... a seed? Something that would terraform a planetary system? To much conjecture, my head is starting to hurt. It's interesting that you liken it to "The Sims", because another video game actually used the idea of being gods to the characters. In the game, a guy on a small platform tells everyone that they're in a video game. Knew that Drummer would figure out the game that Ashford is playing, but her hands are currently tied. The seeds of mutiny are already sprouting, if she throws him out an airlock, it just makes matters worse. She has no choice but to play the hand that she's been dealt, and hope for the best.

😀😀 yes dak very much so any episode with an appearance from drummer is a winner FACT 😄 . This was one of the weirdest episodes of any show I've ever seen more bananas than monkey feeding time at Chester zoo . Drummer read klaes Ashford like a friggin snow globe she sees everything 🔥 . Great to see Bobby back she's been missed now we need to see chrisjen it's been too long . As nuts as this was this was a good one you will have to wait and see what Holden's vision means , I'm saying nothing . Cheers as always dak I don't watch fringe but I do eat haribo 💙

This was the point where I started to really love this show. When I read the books, it was confusing and complicated and it took til the next book when it made sense what just happened. This show is amazing in adapting the story, the characters and the overall feel. Sure they take some creative liberties here and there, they have to otherwise each season would be 50 episodes (which I would be down for). I haven't seen a TV show so good at telling a complex, often confusing story with such in depth and multilayered characters in ages. I won't spoil anything, but my only regret is that they couldn't put the last three books into the TV show. But from what they could take from the studios they did an amazing job. And the cast nails the characters so beautifully. You start out with them, each one a kind of stereotypical archetype of the Sci-Fi genre, yet the longer you follow their adventures they became layered and confusing and complicated. And the show never expect the audience to be stupid. They trust the viewer to make connections on their own, pick up the clues and hints and little lore here and there just like the characters do. And for that alone I love this show so much

Hi! Loving your reactions and especially your theories!! They are so good and well thought out! I was so happy to see the "fing" bird in this episode because my theory has been that the bird (an ancient, dinosaur species) has been the metaphorical link between Julie and Miller even before they met. The PM bird literally led Miller to PM Julie in "Home". I believe the bird on Ceres that visited Miller when he was in Julie's apartment was drawn to Miller and thus Julie was drawn to him as well. All theoretical of course! Enjoy the next 3 episodes!! They are fire.

Chester zoo is up dakaras neck of the woods, if you have been there or watched the TV series ( the secret life of the zoo) you're know the monkeys go crazy over the Bananas 🙂

Heya.. simple answer: it depends. The books are very easy to read (especially the first one jumps back and forth between characters chronological, so Miller on the Station Security get's the infos what happened to the cant after Holden saw it explodes and sends out the message for example. At first it reads like a crime story in real time. Easy to follow and very simple. I guess to give the reader time to get somewhat familiar with the world. The later books get more and more complicated but never to the extend that it feels overwhelming. Sure they leave out answers for the readers, but on purpose. You never know more than the characters do. It is hard for me to suggest you read them since I have no idea how it is to be a non reader, since I am a bit extreme. But yes, if you are a fan of Sci Fi, intelligent writing and good storytelling, give it a shot. The first books, as mentioned, is comparable to a crime story from the feel. The second books reads more like a political thriller and so on. It's refreshing and keeps you egaged. So try the first ook and see how it goes
