Hello All!   I HAD TO GET THIS EPISODE OUT ASAP!! Top 5 episode for SURE!!! This was INSANE! Pre warning you guys, there is ugly crying in this episode! I wanna apologise for it BUT the writers did that to ME, so F it YOLO! RIP Fred J, that was one of the most shocking plot twists ever, when that Belter turned the gun on them- OMG-it broke me! Thinking about how Drummer is gonna take this news also scares the bejesus out of me! Seeing Naomi realise the extent in which Marco and Filip have took this war was also heart breaking to watch! Honestly everything in this episode was something else! What a masterpiece!

Enjoy the reaction,Much loveDakara xA huge shout out to my current sponsors in The Mark of Jayne:AC10 | Azraelov | Brian D | Chris M | David G | Lord David S | Guy WJohann L | Johnny | Keith M | Liam H | Meta | Michael A | MicheleMirko P | NSTG_Eddie | Paul C | PongPong31 | RickWA | RobertRyan B | SORPunk | Toed | Wreath35You're all legends, and I'm eternally grateful!⭐️My Links⭐️ - https://linktr.ee/DakaraJayne

Oh man! Early surprise drop! Won't be able to catch it till tomorrow evening, but this is one of the big bombshell reactions I was looking forward to. Deffo in my top 5 episodes of the entire show too! Enjoy yourselves everyone. I'm sure she's delivered.

Season 5 is on another level, favorite of mine. Season 3 gets well deserved credit for how awesome it is, but Season 5 is full of incredible moments and peak TV IMO.

There’s two episodes left in this season that are a cut above the rest. Can’t wait to see your reaction and everything in them is scientifically accurate by the way.

Beat Conductor

Something to note, but Columbia University, where Arjun works, is in New York City, on the bank of the Hudson River. Only about 75-100km away from where the second rock hit.

Best episode of the series in my opinion

Shawn Anomaly

In your entry into this series, did you ever imagine you'd come across an episode like "Gaugamela"? I can't imagine anyone use to typical tv would ever expect that absolute insanity of chaos that took place! Now it's onto the rest of this glorious season where there's plenty of jaw dropping moments to come. As you know by now, The Expanse is very good with dropping shock after shock after shock!

They take a character like Fred Johnson or Klaes Ashford that they make you not like that much when introduced. Then they carefully and painstakenly lift them up and make you like them. Finally the emotional hit. For a fictional character that you really disliked for a while. Clever, deceitful and really really evil. ... and masterful writing. Bastards! :)

There's a reason they call prison "hard time". The opener showed it as well as some. The rules for visitors are almost as strict as the ones for prisoners, and they don't kid around about them. That the facility is underground makes sense, considering all the inmates are modified in some way. Also, sense it's underground, the impact won't have done as much real damage. Granted, they will need to dig themselves out, but the conditions topside are very likely much, much worse. Loved how Chrisjen got around Gao's advisors. Also, give a hand for Nancy Gao. As soon as she was talking with Chrisjen she got up to speed in a heartbeat! And she never let her ego get in the way. Not that it did any one any good. The attack against Tycho station was perfect. The ony real way that they could have stopped that robot is with an EMP. To bad they didn't have one. Marco has all his followers convinced that he will lead them to glory. The speech he gave was very reminiscent of other would be dictators who came to bad ends. In all of this I'm hearing an echo from the past, "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible wrath.". BTW, anyone who's interested, Gaugamela is a reference to one of the battles between Alexander the great, and Darius of Persia. Gaugamela is the river that ran through the area.

"What in the fuckery is THAT?!?!" 🤣🤣🤣 Dying, I tell ya. DYING!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thadman

Not to have anything to do with the episode, but WHAT is going on in the background on that TV? Is it a video game of Dragonball or something?

DakaraJayne

Video game. I had twitch on the telly. Realised for second recording and sorted that out asap!

PongPong31

"Et tu Brute?" Move over Brutus! Julius Caesar's betrayal by Brutus has nothing on your reaction to that Belter girl's assassination of Fred. "IT WAS YOUUUU??!!!" 😂 So good! Haha. R.I.P Fred. And R.I.P to the millions Marco and his rocks have killed. "I don't know where this is gonna go." You've just spoiled yourself there. There's just so much more to come. Thanks Dak. It was worth the wait.

Isak Haugerud

Amazing episode! While season 3 remains my favorite, I can't fault anyone who prefers season 5.

Polly

Fantastic episode and brilliant reaction - the next best thing to seeing it for the first time. I had forgotten that we saw so early Marco's parenting technique of building Filip up and then immediately putting him down.

Mo

Amazing episode. Reading about this event in the book and the aftermath gave me goosebumps
