Hello All!   I am overwhelmed!!!!!! I'm buzzing over the epicness that is the finale of The Expanse, also saddened at the thought of reaching the end of such an impressive and mind blowing show!!! I beg that you let me know ALL your thoughts regarding this show and the journey we've been on, I wanna know it all guys!!! Some of my stand out thoughts; Bobbie and Amos fighting side by side in a captivating battle. Marco slowly being ripped apart in a beautifully cinematic way. Filip sneaking off before the Roci takes out Marco (whhhaaaaa????). Holden finding a loophole with Chrisjen's plan to solidify a Belter agreement and Camina being rightfully in charge!! IT WAS ALL SOOOO GOOD!!!

Enjoy the reaction,Much loveDakara x

Thank you for sharing your journey through The Expanse. Definitely has been a highlight of my week, so many favorite moments. Actually too many to name, that's how great this show is.

It's been a joy going through this journey with you. Thank you for heartfelt and honest reactions to this series. My week will get just that much lesser now that it's over. I know you are struggling with health issues right now, so please take care of yourself and I wish for your recovery to come quickly.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us. It's a very special one for many. A journey not easily found for ourselves, and much harder to share with others that have a similar passion and love for this type of art. I'll try and write a book here later sharing my thoughts on the whole series and what it was like watching again with you. I hope many others do as well. It will be a few days/weeks for me... I've waited to binge this final season like a movie... The best kinda movie. 😬 Our journey never really ends... Only the destination changes.

Just a heads up that there are TWO comics out that cover the time in between S6 and what would hopefully be S7. The first one is called, "Dragon Tooth" that covers some interesting things with a few nice surprises of what happens after the last scene of the show!!! The second one is called "A Little Death"...it's not completely finished yet but they have released the first two or three of the short story! Well done with the Beltalowda look and the AI putting yourself in a Belta scene!!!! Hopefully one day we get to see a S7-S9 of this brilliant story in live action versus just the books. For now though as with all Reactors I say, "Oyedeng Beltalowda, Oyedeng!"

I’ve seen so many really good reactions to the show. Yours was my favorite.! the books definitely continue the story. I think they tie up all loose ends with a very satisfying ending. I think you would really enjoy the audiobooks. I know when I listened to them, I heard and saw the characters from the show. Hope you’re feeling better and your cosplay was a lot of fun! Again, awesome reaction!!!

I will say it would've been very satisfying to see Drummer get revenge but it also would've been a little too much plot convivence. Drummer had a nice little Belta ship while Marco had a Light Cruiser which makes even the Rocinante a lightweight. The entities being the ones to destroy Marco really showed just how powerful his Free Navy was and how dire the situation was overall . Even after battling out with Earth, Mars, AND Drummer's fleet Marco still had enough in his Free Navy to get through The Ring and wipe the Roci if it had not been for Naomi's plan.

Wonderfull. Thank you for the reactions. I can relate to your talk about a rewatch. This is actually the first show I rewatched immediately. I pressed play on 101 five minutes after finishing 606 for the first time. Get well soon and I'm looking forward to your upcoming reactions.

When you’re going through scenes again, check out the bit just before the Roci heads through the ring while the pods are checking in, and some while the pods are releasing. They show a screen listing the names in each pod and they are ALL Easter eggs to sci-fi.

God knows what I'm going to do with myself next Wednesday evening! It was a bit of a worry back in season one when it seemed like you might not be into it, but seeing you fall in love with the show has been an absolute joy and I've loved every minute. Look after yourself and I hope you feel better soon!

First, I love the AI Dakara Belter segment, it's really great! Also, your belter cosplay was a very nice touch. So much was happening in this episode; the final war council, with a complete breakdown of what they intend to do, The the primary engagement, I thought it was to easy for them to identify and kill Marcos so quickly. It turned out to be a trap! Drummer deciding to do a kamikaze run on the Pella, only to have that other captain beat her to it. Didn't see this coming but, Clarissas' body is starting to reject the implants; and since they can't be removed, the process will slowly kill her. The drop on Medina station, am I the only one that got a "Saving Private Ryan" moment? The whole thing played out like the landing at Omaha beach! Getting th "Entities" involved was the only way to end it. Watching Inaros get eaten was not Drummer facing him down like I hoped, but still satisfying. Loved the aftermath, everyone looking at Holden to lead a new independent ring. Also brilliant was the way he handed power over to Drummer. You could just about hear Avasarala grinding her teeth, at that. But not only has Drummer earned it, she's the best candidate for the job. I thought that Fillip might have gotten away. What happens next with him will be his own choice. He needs to find his own way; become his own man. The writers did a magnificent job with this ending.

I loved joining the Dak pak for this journey through The Expanse. I have never seen a show like this and probably never will again. I have seen many reactions and must say yours was super extra special and so smart and passionate! I hope you have noticed by now that Filip not only left the Pella before it entered its demise in the ring, but he flew away as Filip Nagata, a lovely nod to his mother which she has no idea about. Listen to Naomi's speech again, it is so beautiful saying that we do good even if we don't know the result. I love this show so much and hope we get the last three books on the screen someday. Please take time to listen to the podcast Ty and that Guy, if you recall from S3, Amos is "that guy" and the actor is on the podcast along with one of the book and show writers Ty Frank. Some people were not happy with the time spent on Laconia but the show runner wanted to keep the protomolecule story in this 6th season which was mostly devoted to the war with Marco and the Free Navy. The novella corresponding to the Laconia story is "Strange Dogs" and you can certainly enjoy that now as well. My recommendation is to read the last three books as they are AMAZING and you will see your favorite characters in your imagination as you read! Thank you again for such an amazing journey and reaction. You are a true Screaming Firehawk!

Etta Eskridge

Oh and did I mention you make a beautiful Belter Setara! Oyedang for now!

PongPong31

You give off strong Michio vibes, you, do. Loved it! I think one of the greatest triumphs and themes of the show is the portrayal of redemption and second chances. From Clarissa, to Filip finally breaking free from the manipulative and oppressive grip Marco had him in. I remember Marco introducing Filip to Ashford as his son, and you going, " Naomi's son!" Naomi's son indeed. The kid will have to live with all he's done, but at least now it'll be as his own man. No shadows over him. The final scene with the show's theme in orchestral, Holden and Naomi together, with the fate of Filip being revealed, is one of my favourite scenes of all time. Perfect. I hope that when you're better, the possibility of a bonus chat on the show is on the cards. Through all the tears, laughter, thirsting, weekly gifs, your eloquent introspection and thoughtful breakdowns, I'm glad we got to share in it with you. Thank you for giving this wonderful show a chance. Until next time Bossmang!

Clarissa liking a lot of salt is a symptom of her condition. When you pause and read the screen, it says that's one of them. That's why she asked if there's too much salt, 'cause she can't tell herself.

What makes The Expanse special isn’t just the worldbuilding or the science (though both are elite). It’s how restrained and patient it is. The show trusts the audience to keep up instead of constantly explaining itself or forcing emotions. It treats space like space. Dangerous, indifferent, and governed by physics, but it treats people like people too: messy, political, tribal, and wildly inconsistent. No faction is cartoonishly evil or purely righteous; everyone is acting from incentives, history, fear, and survival. That moral ambiguity is rare and earned. One thing I especially love is how the story scales. It starts small, missing persons, an ice hauler, a mystery, and very slowly expands into something civilization-level without feeling artificial. Big events don’t happen “because plot,” they happen because long chains of choices finally collide. The characters are written with restraint as well. The show doesn’t tell you who to root for; it lets competence, loyalty, and quiet integrity reveal themselves over time. Courage in The Expanse isn’t about bravado or dominance, it’s about accepting consequences and doing the responsible thing under uncertainty. Holden isn’t a power fantasy, Amos isn’t a trope, and even side characters feel like they existed before we met them. And maybe most importantly: The Expanse is comfortable with unanswered questions. It understands that mystery is a feature, not a flaw. It lets ideas breathe, lets tension simmer, and doesn’t rush to explain the unknowable just to make the audience comfortable. It’s sci-fi that respects intelligence, patience, courage, systems, rules, and consequence. Which is why once it gets under your skin, nothing else really scratches the same itch.
