Hello All!   

Deep Throat is no more, shot dead in front of Scully and Fox thrown into the road in pain and tied up. The government has a lot to answer for! They've now decided the X Files is no more and Fox and Dana will be reassigned! I vote for the epic pairing to create their very own company to seek out answers and help those struggling! Great first season! I know this is just the start too-I can't wait for what's in store ahead. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE - TRUST NO ONE!

Love your reaction Dakara. Love watching the X-Files with you. So many memories for me....it's just soooo good. I tell you one thing I have done over the years, while watching this episode, is to literally ignore the dialogue and just concentrate on Mark Frost's music. It is sooo good and adds so much to the feeling and emotion you feel as you watch. When Mulder makes his discovery of those bodies, the music alone told me this was a MOMENT for the show. Back then, the X-Files was a casual watch for me until this episode. The episode changed everything for me. I long for the days when I can be obsessed with a show so deeply again. It may never happen. I'm so glad to be here with you as you take the journey. And now the fun begins...

I love how they left it with Scully at end. The whole season, with the main mythology arc, we'd been fed with primarily Mulder at the forefront. So with Mulder being outta commision towards the final act, felt so good to see Scully front and center. P.S. I bet you feel a tad bit bad about all the negative comments you had on deepthroat? Haha.

Totally agree about scully, felt great to see and her acknowledgement to mulder about him being right was also amazing. As for deep throat...insert Homer sliding into a bush gif here...BUT Deepthroat does love a bush lurk so im sure he'd approve haha 😄 rip

Well, you wanted Scully to open her eyes. They can't get too much more open! She know that the truth is out there, the problem is how to find it. Especially now that the X- Files division has been shut down. I think I mentioned something about the unnamed characters, Deep Throat, The Cigarette Smoking Man, and even the Lone Gunmen, being the most interesting characters on the show. Whenever they show up, you know something weird is going to happen. Nice tee, wear it proudly, and remember, the truth IS out there, for those who are willing to look.

Trillions of Galaxies and 100s of Billions of Stars per galaxy in the observable universe alone... the possibility of alien life is all but guaranteed. The more we consider our own human history... All the different great technology leaps advancing humans 1000s of years in a single lifetime, the mysteries of all the pyramids and cave paintings sharing the same stories spread across the earth at times when traveling great distances was almost impossible, the insane scientific understanding of the stars and calendars and time of day devices before metal, 2000 year old batteries found in archaeological digs, first flight to walking on the moon in 66 years, stealth planes, flying cars, and the mind numbing realization that someone, somehow, figured out how to make Bread for the very first time... Are we the Aliens??? 🛸

I remember a few episodes into this show, I said to my mom, "There's NO WAY they don't cancel this show. It's so interesting and right up our alley and they ALWAYS cancel shows we really like." She agreed. Spoiler Alert: They did NOT cancel the show and it went on for 9 seasons. My mom stopped watching right after an episode in the 4th season, I think. It disturbed her and she was like, "Nope. I'm out." 😆 I tried to get her to come back and assured her it was a one-off, but she wouldn't.

Eventually you'll have to watch the X-Files movie in between a certain two seasons (I think). I just don't know when. I'm hoping your fans who know better will tell you when to do it.
