Rating - 8/10 - I enjoyed this, it was a MOTW but it had that little extra flare. Comedy was great & the shock at the end was heart breaking but great TV. Let's hope Jack will be more than okay! I enjoyed the scenes between Sam & AltCharlie too, they seemed more realistic to me IDK.

I like that Jack got his zombie finally! Seeing him paired off with only Dean was nice since we haven't seen but a pep talk or two since last season. And I know it seems like it drains some of the strong Sam/Jack bond this season but I still think Dean is more like the cool uncle vs a father figure which is definitely way more of a Cas and Sam thing.

Brian Dworak

For future viewers of this episode, the actress that played Harper, Maddie Phillips, also played Cate in GEN V and THE BOYS. She is stunning in this episode.

Arushi

That fidget spinning scene was 100% Jared and not Sam lmao

Purple Nurple

I do enjoy a Richard Speight Jr directed episode. He took an average story and elevated it.

Susan Sebert

Again not one of my favorites, but there are always scenes that make the episode. Loved the scene with the fidget spinner, need to find out if that was an adlib of Jared's. Loved that final scenes with Dean and Jack, shows how much Dean really does care about Jack. Also the scene when Jack asked Dean to tell him everything about sex "GO". Alex plays this part perfectly, kind of like Misha with that innocence.

Michele

You handled this episode better than I did. The stuff with Dean and Jack was cute and kind of fun, but also a bit too silly for my taste. The tone of the episode, how it was shot, the music - it all just rubbed me the wrong way. The thing with the fly people was a serious NO for me. I hated the whole thing. I like that the monsters in SPN don't vary much from the human theme. This one veered from that just a tad bit more than I liked. Because they didn't look like humans most of the time. It just didn't work for me. I was in a crappy mood at this point and just started cussing at the tv and could barely finish watching the episode. I think this was maybe my lowest point in the show. I had just gotten into a negative head space for it and couldn't get out of it. May have been because I was disappointed over the very short Michael!Dean time we had. Then with how episodes were just feeling off to me. It just had a whole different vibe. And I was seriously pissed about the whole Nick thing. And I was not much interested in AU Bobby or Charlie. I wanted OG Bobby and Charlie. Sorry. I hate being so negative. I am better now. I just had to work through it.

Michele

When I found out who the writer and director were for this episode I was surprised, because I usually like their episodes.

Josee (Griffe)

That last scene was really worrysome. And I am also worried that Harper will find Jack and kill him to make him her boyfriend even if his 3 dads can find a way to get him rid of that stupid cough... 😕

Michelle Denny

For myself the fly thing was not good. I loved all the Dean and Jack especially with Jensens facial expressions when Jacks calls Dean old 😂.

Hasnaa

I loved this episode, the musca isn't for me but at least we get a monster that isn't some people in suits, i mean demons & angels are people in suits, even the leviathans wear suits, vamps & werewolves are people with teeth, it's nice to get an actual monster looking monster 😂, i looooved the whole jack story, jack has his first villain 😍, michael is more of a villain of humanity but harper is jack's first nemesis, i like her, every hero needs a good villain, dean: love can get crazier than that. You would know dean. Great seeing AU charlie & how different she is from our charlie, what was very interesting to me is hearing sam convincing someone to stay in the life & not leave, it's shows how much he changed & grew

Anastasia

"silver stake through the heart, that ought to do the trick" "and that’s love?" "actually love can get crazier than that" the way dean described how he and cas met and called it love

AdoptDontShopPets

I laughed when you said the Musca scene was getting to be like Doctor Who. You were spot on with that. The former greatness of Supernatural and its now at times very much like a children’s show. Doesn’t mean we can’t still be entertained, but these filler episodes only have a few moments that are interesting to me, so I rewatch very few episodes of this season.

Michele

That's sometimes how I see it too. Something important in the overall vibe of the show has changed. It's no longer a scary show. How can it be scary in bright light and bright colors? lol

Amye Sabin

Sorry, we don't all love Jack. Yes, he's added another dimension to the show, but honestly, Andrew Dabb has sucked up to the character at the expense of Dean & esp Sam. I don't miss him at all when he's not in an episode.

Venice Bitch

|| Teeth like a shark✨|| Episode was pretty good actually. Loved the Charlie and Sam team up. Didn’t like the whole Harper and Jack thing ugh omg I’m so jealous sry😭 Jack is my husband so don’t touch him. The end killed me…seeing Jack suffer from pain makes me so emotional…
