I always found the French version to be a little more emotionally heightened and charged. I still prefer the original SKAM but this one is a close second. As you mentioned the actors are incredible. To offer an answer to your question, my sister was bipolar. Here is no hard and fast rule as to how someone with bipolar acts during a manic episode but Henrik (Evan) and Maxence (Elliot) both do an amazing job in my opinion. The rapid speech, the jittery and repetitive movements, the wild stories and inability to listen or take in others views were all spot on. The following scenes continuing the bipolar storyline were fantastic also, though I probably found the France version to be slightly more similar to my experiences. Others might find things different. I didn’t watch the season two stories so I don’t really know what the girls were talking about except in relation to what happened in the original. I always just assumed that they were talking about ‘William’ except here he’s Charles. If you remember in the OG, Noora left William behind in London because of the trial, but kept telling everyone they weren’t broken up. I just figured it was something along those lines but I can’t say for certain.

Just FYI, the episodes don't end abruptly. All there is in the non cut-off version is a slo mo moment of the actor in that position and then roll credits. It gives it a smoother feel, but no part of the episode is actually cropped off. The girls were definitely talking about the Noora/William story from Season 2, and I think the other was the Season 1 couple. I just love Lucas and Elliot so much. I think they might be my favourite out of all them (except perhaps the original Noora/William which might be my equal fave)
