Rating - 9/10 - Awesome premier, I felt the intensity from the get go. The fight scene at the start was amazing. This demon being inside Jack is making me uneasy! The Monster at the End of the Book can DO ONE! Chuck! I'm talking to you lad! I need to be more careful about what I wish for haha. This was NOT what I had in mind at all lol. The tension between Cas & Dean still feels strong to me, do not approve of that. I truly hope they stay focused & determined to stand by Team Free Will!

!!! Now I have to catch up with your reactions. I really loved the final season even though it was hit during the pandemic so you'll notice some limitations but they still hit it out of the park with the emotions! Can't wait to see your reaction to the final episode!!

PongPong31

Bless your soul Dakara you legend! I was just re-watching this episode. Not the strongest season premier, but that last shot! I remember having the exact reaction to it. One of the coolest callbacks on the show. Some of the others have pointed out, the "we got work to do" line from the pilot. But I think this is actually the fourth time they've closed , with the same shot of Sam and Dean, at the mouth of the impala's trunk. The Pilot, 2x22, and 10x05 before this.

NSTG_Eddie

I do suggest to watch The Long Way Home Before watching episode 20 just a suggestion

Cant believe this is the last ever premiere of the show 😭 The ghosts of earlier seasons looked so much badass and creepier back in the day than this ones. Alexander is officially one of the boys, now every one of them have played another character besides the main one: Dean/Michael, Sam/Lucifer, Castiel/Lucifer/Emmanuel/Jimmy and now Alex that Demond Loved how Dean was worried about Cas even when he’s still mad 🥰 Dont like that plot with all the crappy ghosts but loved the callbacks and the closing of the back of the impala, chef kiss, whar a call back from the pilot “we got work to do” chills Ps: loved “your” mustache 🥰

Please try to avoid voicing opinions on future episodes as they can influence Dakara's reaction :)

Darynidia

Great reaction to a really good season premiere! It's weird to know there won't be one after this, but I'm also excited to see what you've got in store for us next. Looking forward to the next episode!

DazzleFae

Okay, but poor Sam! He always gets stuck with the killer clowns! I feel like Dean can no longer tease him about being scared of them, because he has almost been killed by so many of them! Haha And the little flash when Cas tried to heal the bullet wound! I remember watching that and being so excited! (Scared for what it could mean, but excited...) And the "When I shot God." "I'm sorry? When you shot God?" "It's a long story." BAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That poor woman and that poor child! They just got a glimpse into the Winchester's world that they did not need! Chuck being like this was such a big betrayal! Like I said on the last episode, we all kinda trusted him. He's a character we've known and loved since SEASON FOUR! It was always so exciting when he'd come back. Then this happened and we all just flipped completely and started hating him. He became so hated! Like, a lot of people hate him more than Metatron and that's saying something! Haha I went from getting excited when seeing Rob Benedicts name in the credits, to dreading the idea of it. (Even though I still adore Rob!)

Christopher simeon

I can honestly not give this premiere a good rating. Too many plot conveniences and deus ex machinas. It seems the writers chickened out on the zombie plot and went with a cheaper version. The character stuff is always the highlight so at least the episode had that. The sam wound is a interesting new development. Let see how that plays out.

Purple Nurple

FYI Bloody Mary was played by the same actress! The woman in white changed though. (I have a video mentioning season 1 actors that reappear and Bloody Mary is one of them) The episode went by so quickly for me as well, yet some of the scenes went slowly for me - like the ghost scenes.

"Really loving" the final season is an opinion yes, but what else was said that could "influence" Dakara's reaction?

Hasnaa

The ghosts running is the stupidest thing ever, Sam got to face his biggest fear in this episode, a clown, he got to look him in the face & tells him to shut up, that moment between dean & Cas was so painful, I just want them to kiss & make up, cas breaks my heart this episode from carrying jack's body to being triggered by belphegor, to his feelings being ignored by dean 😭, great reaction, dakara 👏

AdoptDontShopPets

I’ll start with my positive comments so people can then skip the negative if they want. Positives: the opening scene (even if not realistic) was fun, as was the crypt scene. Belphagor was entertaining. They did well building tension with the Gacy ghost stalking the mom and daughter, mystery of Sam’s gunshot, the cute moment with Dean cleaning Sam’s wound and then the end scene call back to the pilot. Now for the negative: for me, basically the returning ghosts plot isn’t written very well. doubtful that four dudes in an Impala would be able to lock down a town so easily. It was great Belphagor did a spell to put a bubble around the town, however it’s unlikely that billions of souls wouldn’t have already been further away so as not to be trapped in the bubble. And there was just no spooky Supernatural atmosphere with the ghosts just running down the street chasing Sam and Cas. I hate seeing Dean be cruel to Cas, yet it’s obvious he still cares about him because he did bother to ask Cas how he is doing. While I wish Dean wasn’t still directing his anger at Cas, I think that with this new apocalypse happening less than a week after Mary‘s death, Dean hasn’t had enough time to work through his emotions. Deep down I think that blaming Cas is a coping mechanism for Dean, as otherwise he would be blaming himself and I don’t think he would be able to handle feeling responsible for Mary’s death.

Fernando Ducer

I might comment more on the episode later on. For now, I loved the reaction as always Dakara. And I wanted to make a quick remark about the ending scene of the episode with Sam and Dean at the back of baby and them saying "We've got work to do." That is the same way that the Pilot episode in season 1 ended right after Jess had been killed by the fire in the house. The same way Mary died. I bet most viewers put that together as well, but I wanted to put it out here before I forgot.

Valcor

I think they are talking about the pandemic limitation talk. Aswell as hitting it out of the park with emotions.

Valcor

We've got work to do" was said in the shows pilot at the end so it's kind of come full circle with it being put in at the end of this episode. I might be wrong but I don't think you noticed the phrase being reused? I know you commented on the shot being cool but they also reused the words which i loved 🥰

Valcor

I know what you mean about being conflicted about this final season... I'm feeling the same way I want to see your reactions, but I also don't because then it will be over 😭😭

Susan Sebert

Good episode, loved your reaction when Balfagar possessed Jack's body and he got up. Poor Cas, he can't stand him. Waiting to find out about Sam's wound, since something happened when Cas tried to heal it. On to the next.

Max Brander

I love the into song the famous final scene by Bob seger, they played the same song back in season 8 when Kevin died.

Emball

are any of those things REALLY unpredictable though? Surely she is already aware the final will be emotional, and of course she knows it was impacted by the pandemic.

ElysiaFields19

So... you are now sitting in the same viewer seat as so many of us were in real time, for this final season, my youtube friend😟 Scared of how it might end. Over all, it was a good opening for season 15. The Bob Seger song was disturbingly perfect as the story picked up right from where we were left hanging for months. The shocked and frenzied emotions while they were trapped in the crypt definitely had me on edge. I had problems with the running ghosts. It just didn't feel as frightening as it was supposed to be. Alex did a great and irritating job as the demon Balphagor but he also seemed like a convenient plot device. The divide between Dean and Cas was painful with Cas so clearly emotional over losing Jack and just barely able to deal with the demon wearing his face. He needs Dean, you could see it but Dean wasn't ready for forgiveness or any kind heart to heart. The call backs to previous episodes and monsters was unsettling and Bloody Mary crawling out of the water was creepy. The big questions though: Did Chuck abandon his favorite "show" and with both Sam and Chuck taking a bullet from the Equalizer- are they in some way connected? And WHAT was that flash of an image Sam saw? All that had me anxious to get on with the season. The end scene with the boys looking into the open trunk of Baby left me warmed by memories of the closing shot of the first episode (I know it was used after that several times but it always circles my heart back to the beginning of their journey) and ready to cheer them on because these are the WINchesters!! As for your reaction, once you pointed out it was the final season and spoke about the years we have been on the this ride with you, I started to feel loss; like omg, this is going to be over soon. I can't stand to think about waking up and beginning my week without Dakara! That just can't happen😭

Josee (Griffe)

I liked the beginning of this premiere, the fact that it is Cas' that call the brothers to try to escape, the fact that the recap song did not cut out and was playing for this entire zombie scene. And interesting snippet: Eric Kripke co-wrote this episode. The demon in Jack was a little too convenient but I can roll with that. I think it was how the director chose to present the ghosts of the past that bugs me the most. They show their faces, in broad daylight: it doesn't make for something very scary. And the way Bloody Mary and the Lady in White acted, was weird. Mary going after the lilttle girl? The Lady in white telle DEAN that he brought her home?

Gina St Phillips

The different actor for The Woman in White was distracting for me. Sarah Shahi is so uniquely gorgeous that I kept missing her, but you're right, getting her back after 15 years would have been a long shot. I wouldn't be surprised if she was more than willing to do it, but she is constantly working, bless her. At least we had the same actor for Bloody Mary, which was super cool, but she looks more womanly than she did then, obviously. I love how they bring back the actors of memorable characters from the past sometimes to play other characters later, like Missy from "The Benders" was later Dean's daughter in "The Slice Girls." It sorta bugged me that the ghosts were breaking their own rules, too. Mary was only supposed to go after people who felt responsible for a death, and the Woman in White was supposed to target cheaters, but I guess having previously been vanquished, maybe their ghost business was concluded. *shrug* The other anomaly, that all the bodies in the graveyard were spread out, I decided to blame that on Balthegor's spell blasting them around, like you did. I know it's hard watching every episode knowing you are one episode closer to that last one. Trust me, we all know the feeling well.

JoDaNa81

As far as The Woman in White goes, don't forget that she was willing to "break her own rules" back in the pilot, when she was in the car with Sam. He told her that he wasn't unfaithful, so she couldn't kill him...which she then responded with "You will be."

Azraelov

well for the first time, I've gone into your reaction having not seen the episode myself before hand. wow, actually reacted so similar to yourself. also shouted shit when that one came out of the wall! love it! lol question though, a stupid one probably but.... Jack has no eyes. Burned out by Chuck, so how does the demon see? If I recall at that bar, where Sam met Ruby. When that demon attacked Sam, she could not see because Cas burned out the eyes of the human that demon was inhabiting at the time....???? Am I being mental? xD

Amye Sabin

Personally I thought this was one of the worst premiers. But that's just me.

Venice Bitch

Can’t really say much about it. Was a pretty boring premiere. The effects are the worst. Didn’t like the Bloddy Mary thing (S1 was 100 times better). The actress who played her is the same as in S1. Glad she made a 2nd appearance. Dean’s behavior is getting worse I just don’t care for him anymore at this point. Hate him

Chrissy

The actress isn’t the same

Robert Middleton

So I want to tell you something, I have never watched the final season. I wanted to watch it properly when it aired in the UK but it took forever to get over here. then when it finally aired, i found out it was moved from E4 to 4Music and I was a couple of episodes behind. I thought they might be on All4 but i guess either 4music or imported shows aren't covered. I could have watched it through other means but that didn't fell right. Anyway when the release date was announced for The Complete Series boxset, I pre-ordered it. I've had it for a couple of months and have been meaning to start it and I thought I would watch it along with you (kinda). Anyway sorry for the long post but I'm excited and nervous about what's coming
