"Because you f---ing shot me Daniel." 😂 The first fully blown f bomb in the series. So many subtle easter eggs in this one.

Just in case you were wondering this episode is a call back to 5x08 (hence the "because you shot me") specifically the scene just as Lucifer receives the voicemail from Chloe as Michael kidnaps her where he's seen disheveled & surrounded by multiple whiteboards with a drawn out plan which turned out to literally be this entire episode. 😂

I do remember when I watched this episode for the first time. I had bought in to the day as much as Dan, it was when Maze took the bullet for Dan and died in his arms that I thought "hang on". The best part of the episode in many ways is the conversation between Lucifer and Dan at the end. So many little quips and digs, like "she's a detective" . It does sit that Lucifer wouldn't give up a bit of revenge against Dan for shooting him. Lets face it it took Chloe's abduction to delay it in the first instance. Have to say though that the line "Because you fucking shot me Daniel" was worth waiting for.

I loved this episode and loved watching your face throughout. I also didn't know what was going on and thought it was crazy and wtf is this episode! I finally, FINALLY 'got it' when Luci stood on the balcony looking down on the 'carnage' and said 'Those that don't deserve it, get shot!' and I thought...hang on...surely not...Luci's revenge? The end scene with Dan and Luci was really good, I thought, as Luci explained it all and the cost and his final comment as to why he did it made me choke on my drink, spluttering with laughter! I hoped now that Dan could come to terms, as you said, with himself and with who Lucifer is and they could return to some sort of friendship and understanding of each other. It seemed when I re-watched the ending again that it was clear that Lucifer had a 'light bulb moment in understanding Dan and even though he might never admit it, he does seem to respect Dan and recognise the friendship of sorts. It did show how much Dan has grown and changed and I think even in getting his revenge, Luci recognised that. Now, onwards- David Strbavy is right, characters now on the right track scenes are set and back to the main story- let the biggest rollercoaster of all begin. ( we always say that- so no spoilers, but hey, this is Lucifer! )Thank you for this early episode- much appreciated. I am looking forward to episode 13 ' A Little Harmless Stalking' I am really enjoying all your reactions- roll on Sunday for that next one!

Your "WTF" face while watching this episode was wonderful. I'm pretty sure that's the same expression I had when I first watched it. The thing that really got me cracking up was the elaborate pudding tower, and then the absolute banging "because you fucking shot me, Daniel". Ultimately, I love this episode as a kind of tribute to Dan's character growth over the course of the series. He's come so far, and as Lucifer points out, he never stops trying to do the right thing and that's why we love him.

Dan got over his anger last season (S4). He's been on a self-help binge during most of S5. This wasn't my favorite, either, but that last line makes up for everything. First time the f-word is used in <i>Lucifer</i>. I figured something else was going on when Luis showed up at his apartment with the poison. There was just no way that all the bad things that happened to poor Dan could be real.<p>You would have to mention Chuck....</p>

WHA T. I WAS RIGHT???????? ? ? ? Haha. Also, errr. I dunno if I buy that ending exchange? Maybe Lucifer implied to Dan that his "doing the right thing" is a negative for his own experience? I dunno, but oof, that was cruellll. I kinda thought it was Lucifer's doing the entire time, tbh, but I thought it might be too obvious -- glad it wasn't God.
