Rating - 8.5/10 - Eileen & Sam do be flirting & I am here for it! Cas being back in bunker, yes then BUT I still sense the tension & it hurts my heart. This ep was ROUGH for Dean, I feel for him so much. He was admiring Lee & what he 'achieved' & the glint in his eye that Dean himself could actually have that too...to then realise it was all built on lies & to rub salt in the wound he had to end his friends life in the process :( this show kills me.

Good episode. Was really cool to see Lindsay MacDonald, plus him & Dean rocking out was awesome! Loved the Lethal Weapon reference before their fight at the end.

Since the angels fell from Heaven, they don't have their wings (only archangels still do and there are none in play now). So Cas can't go to get Sergei. The band in the bar are made up of members of the Supernatural crew. They used to play at crew parties as The Impalas.

The only thing that bothered me in this episode is Dean singing. In public. On key. This was pure fan service since it didn't further the plot at all. Happy to have heard Jensen and Christian Kane sing the song, but Dean was not near drunk enough to go on that stage, in my opinion.

Christian Kane (Lee) is a real-life friend of Jensen's, so they did have an old friendship to build on. I liked this episode a lot, mainly because of its symbolism and coding. Yes, having Eileen there as part of their family is nice. When we initially met her I wasn't a Saileen shipper, mainly because I try to never ship Sam with anyone (his girlfriends have a tendency of not making it very long). But since they brought her back to life I thought that maybe her and Sam could actually have a happy ending. Dean could have his bar (in my destiel trash brain with Cas by his side, once they sorted their crap out :P), they could all retire from hunting and enjoy their long earned peace. This episode only strengthend my believe in part of these things. We see Lee, who supposedly has it all figured out, even has a bar named Swayze's ("Swayze always gets a pass"), and Sam and Eileen carefully get to know each other again. But by the end, that's all disrupted and we return to the immediate goal, which is to defeat Chuck. Maybe this is the last time they have to put hunting before everything else, maybe not, but one thing is for sure: These boys will never find peace as long as there's work to do.

I enjoyed that episode. Sam and Eileen were so cute with their awkwardness. Glad Cas is back, still strained between him and Dean. Was nice to see Dean relaxed and laughing for a change (Jensen and Christian Kane need to sing more together, they were great). It was sad that he had to kill his friend, but that is who Dean is, he has to make the tough decisions. Sam is beginning to understand what his wound is letting him see. Onward....

I really felt for Dean this episode he was enjoying catching up with an old friend and actually looked Happy. But ofcourse it was too good to be true I wish it could have lasted longer. Because if anyone needs a friend right now its Dean for sure. I liked the actor that played Dean's friend aswell.I remember being so disappointed when he turned out to be the monster.

I enjoy this episode. I will take the fan service if I get to watch Jensen sing. Jensen and Christian Kane used to be housemates in LA way back in their early acting days. Chris has a band called Kane and one of their songs is the first song you hear as Dean first arrives at the bar. Their fight scene was brutal and unintentionally hard on Jensen. Lee hits Dean across the back with a pool cue, wasn’t scored well enough and it refused to break. They had to do the hit multiple times. The scored it more and it still didn’t break, but bent so it was like getting whipped. Jensen had to be feeling that for days. 😬

Sam is basically Harry Potter. The wound on his shoulder is his lighting scar and Chuck is Voldemort. It comes complete with visions and emotions of what the other is upto.

Dean isn't doing well in this break up. That cop wasn't odd, he was just hitting on dean hard 😂. I love sam & eileen so much 🥺. Yes, owning a bar is dean's dream. As much as I love saileen so much, i found it hilarious that cas cockblocked sam for once 😂, that's payback for all the time sam walked in on dean & cas having a moment lol. Sam is always down for some danger/torture, whenever u rewatch this show u will notice that in almost all of cas & sam centric scenes, sam is offering to be tortured by cas & i love it, they're always doing something dangerous, so chaotic 😂, Dean can't leave them alone 😂. They always try to do shit that could get them killed, istg, one day, dean will come back home to a dead sam & a scared cas 😂. U thought cas was being stupid, but he had a plan, he channeled the russian in misha's name 😂, i love mob boss cas so much 😂 & hey they got some info from it, sam was able to see some of chuck's memories. Dean & lee had sex with triplets together, "split them fair & square", how?, So now we have both dean having an orgi with lee & crowley (demon dean) in canon, love that for us. Loved the scene of dean singing with lee with the bi flag colors lighting behind them 🥺😍.

When I first watched this episode I felt just "meh" about it. This is my 3rd time watching it and I like it more this time. My head was just not in a good place the first time, because of what Chuck had done - was doing. And other things that won't be mentioned. Dean isn't suppose to be able to sing - but I don't care. The actor that played Lee is Christian Kane. He's been in loads of different shows over the years. He's an actor, but also a singer and has a band. He and Jensen have been really good friends for many many years. 20 or so years, I think. Since before SPN. Jensen has a lot of "best friends". lol Why is Sam taking it so slow with Eilene?? I was seriously getting miffed at Cas in this episode, but was saved when he turned the tables on Sergei. sheesh! But, why did Cas tell Sergei how to find the Bunker?!?!?!?!?!?!? And also Cas does something out of the blue to Sams wound and that makes it worse. Where has Cas been and how did he come up with that idea? Always trust Dean and his gut instincts. Unless it's a friend he should be suspicious of, because then he seems to not let his gut do it's job. I can't believe Dean was taken out that easily in the junk yard. Glad Lee got stupid after he stopped hunting, and left Dean in that weak tiedown. He should have known better than that. And what kind of luck is it that the creature would finally be able to break out just at the right time - after all these years? Is Chuck involved in the weak ass writing? I was suspicious about everything now. How much was Chuck meddling in things and did he bring this situation with Lee into being?

Yes, I felt the same way about it. It broke me out of the story and made me feel like it was Jensen at a con, not believably Dean. Still, it was fun, and they clearly had a blast doing it. Jensen has wanted to get his buddy on Supernatural forever, and Christian wanted it too, but the timing never worked out, so this was a treat for both of them, and for us. I decided to just roll with it, lol! I love Christian, and Leverage is such a fun ride of a show. I've rewatched it an embarrassing number of times. The Librarians was fun, too, and it's always good to hear Christian sing.

I remember when I first watched this episode, when Sergei said Sam was dying, I literally just went "Again?!" out loud. To myself in my room... Haha
