Hello All!

My schedule for Buffy will be 2 episodes a week here on Patreon. Hopefully one on a Tuesday & one on a Thursday :) please check updated Tiers.

Creepy ep fitting for creepy season haha. In the words of Buffy Summers, Puppets give me the wig! Some of the scenes made me laugh with the puppet but again really fun episode. I liked the guy that played the puppets 'handler' lol. He played the character well & had me guessing if he was doing the voice or not which is hilarious. Humour on point in this episode as always. Some scary & sad moments too. I'm ready for more though - bring on the next episode!

Thank you all so so much for watching, hope you all enjoy the video & I will look forward to reading your comments as always,

Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

Armin Shimerman who plays the new Principal is best known for his role as Quark on Star Trek but he’s done lots of voice work and bit parts. Not my fave episode of the season but not terrible. Your reaction was great fun though!

DB

Nobody's favourite episode but I do like this one much more than some of S1. Mostly because humour in the dialogue is just so on point. I love Snyder and his attitude towards students lol So many reactors are surprised by his hatred of kids and clearly they never went to the schools I went to... Also iirc Nick adlibbed (is that the past tense?) The Shining's "redrum" and Aly adlibbed Willow running off the stage, and I think both were spot on.

Its a good episode. I dislike it. its a no for me. I. Hate. Living. Dummies. I saw a dummy and it gave me the wiggs for sure. Still shivering. hate them xD. The new principle is good character though. Its a strong episode, but just why.... why dummies xD

But just buffy's eyes when the stuff with Sid happened, andw hen explaining it. Really well done

Meredith

I have a soft spot for this episode- I actually really enjoy it! The ending with Buffy, Xander , and Williow doing Oedipus always cracks me up.

This was great last night went to darts the 5aside team ko and found out that morning a player from another team who I've known for so so long died of a heart attack he really was the nicest man always smiling I've had many great games against him one not even a month ago so it's very sad his wife is so nice too I feel so sad for his family 😭 so this was just what I needed dak you had me smiling instantly you started dancing to the intro 🎶🙂 one day you're going to sit there in silence Nooooooo! Just to clarify that's a no from me lol OK so creepy ass puppet episode not exactly Pinocchio was it 😀 "once you go wood nothing is as good" ummmm I have no words lol tmi thankyou haha just a regular human creature um so a human then question mark 😀 this episode was classic buffy just total bonkers and I'm sure the writers were laughing their butt's off at this lol just crazy but what fun it was, new creepy headmaster who wouldn't find this guy creepy right 😱 so there we have it another episode down thankyou dak for cheering me up you're a star 💙

Jim Greer

I really like this episode , especially the humour .

That’s Not Acting

Don’t worry, nobody in the fandom is going to give you a hard time or be offended for laughing at the effects. Especially in this one, lol! Something to keep in mind that you might not know is that Buffy was a mid season replacement for a television show called Savannah. So it of course only has 12 episodes and the budget was very very small, not to mention a lot of the writing got done in kind of a rushed fashion. The first season is certainly the campiest and, in some cases, the corniest, but it’s also very beloved. It does get better from those aspects but just remember it’s 1997 and it’s camp. So it’s like double whammy with the campiness, 😂 . Yeah but you’re doing a great job love the episode reactions, love your commentary. Keeping awesome.

Josee (Griffe)

I kind of love the Xander/Giles relationship that is developing, since from our main trio of students, Xander was the less likely to have anything in common with the Watcher. And he saved Giles life in this one. So I guess it can only improve their relationship.

Gina St Phillips

Maybe Armin Shimmerman's ears stick out more after years of wearing the Ferengi makeup, lol. That would explain why we can see the lighting through them. ;)
