What a finale guys!!! I am shooketh!!! Beca be alive and well?! Homelander kills the love of his twisted life! Queen Maeve gives the pep talk of all pep talks! Starlight doing all she can to be good & do the right thing. The boys are stronger than ever (minus Butcher). OMG SO MUCH HAPPENED. Great finale guys!!!

Season 1 finale! Quite a lot to take in. I have mixed feelings about there being only 8 episodes. Yes, it means that every episode has to count and can't be just "filler", but it also means that things happen fast and you don't see as much of the evolution of relationships or such. Yes, it happens, but there's not as much time to devote to the good stuff. But, they did a good job anyway and it's not like I felt really deprived. I think it was partly that every episode was so heavy that it was a lot to process. I think it's a good thing that they don't release the entire season at once. I like to be able to marinate over each episode and appreciate what happened in it, where binging a whole season at one sitting wouldn't allow you to do that. Anyway - I was Really surprised that Homelander killed Madelyn, Got pretty tense and it seemed like it would happen, but I was still surprised. I felt that she would be sticking around for a while. I am really pissed at Butcher for the baby though. He knew that the bomb wouldn't kill Homelander. His big gamble at using Madelyn had failed and he just said F it and did a suicide. Taking the baby with him?! But he's still alive it seems. Homelander is pretty fast, I guess. But that baby!! I was not liking Butcher much by this point, and what he did here clinched it. He got put on my shit list. But Frenchie!! I love that little dude. Glad that they got out and were able to take Kamiko too. I'm really glad we got to see Hughie and Starlight come together. She was able to see that he really was a good guy, even though he lied to her.

This show moves very fast. Felt Starlight's pain in being lied to by everyone, especially her mother. Loved that Hughie rescued Frenchy and MM. Starlight saving them was great. Homelander killing Madelyn was a bit of a surprise but when she lied to him again about how his son dies was the last straw. He is kind of going off the deep end now and being a little unpredictable.

Fantastic finale indeed mind blown for sure ,I remember the first time seeing the way homelander took out Madelyn was a shock but he is crazy so not really that much of a shock I guess . Enjoyed your Frenchie impression dak it even sounded french not Italian so good job 😃 overall I've loved every reaction this season and can't wait to dive into what is even more insane season 2. With you , thankyou for all the laughs
