Hello All!

Buffy technically died & Kendra appeared!! I enjoyed exploring the topics in this one. I thought Buffy would have jumped at the chance to step back and allow Kendra to take over so to speak. She did mention sharing the slaying duties. The two are so different though! Xander & Cordelia?!! What Whut?! Haha. Dru & Spike have me shook! I do be scared now...correction...I'm more scared now haha! Great ep!

Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

Thanks for the shout out Dakara! I also love Oz and Willow, they are super cute. I think everyone who watched Buffy impersonated Kendra's voice at one point, I know I do... little fun fact - when Buffy says 'back off Pink Ranger', the stunt double for Buffy also did stunt double for the Pink Ranger in the Power Rangers. It's a little inside joke

Dave Ford

Oz and Willow are everything. The way he slid that "You have the sweetest smile I've ever seen" into his monkey monologue was delightful.

Meredith

Aw, love this episode. First any episode with Dru and Spike makes me happy. Kendra’s awesome and I love the budding Willow and Oz relationship. They’re adorable. And Xander and Cordelia’s relationship cracks me up but I love it. I’m always a sucker for enemies to lover trope.

Your comments on this are spot on. Yeah buffy wants the idea of a normal life, but presented with the possibility she would miss the slayer part of her. And she's quite protective over it. She likes being the only one and having the power to save others.

Josee (Griffe)

Solid episode. Love your reactions and comments, as always. The thing that cracked me up this time around is how Angel is so "feeble" from the ritual and he has two Slayers to help him up and carry him, but Boreanaz still needs to do all the heavy lifting of his own weight because the actors are clearly not as strong as their characters. (I mean, of course they don't have slyers strenght, but this scene makes it SO obvious!)

The BLOOB

Watched the SPN Buffy titles by Purple Nurple and I just gotta say... seeing all those actors in the credits made me wanna cry a little lmao

Jon Freezin-Rain

I've read that the entire scene was ad libbed by both actors..

Bart Aansorgh

Another great episode. I always did like the Buffy technically died angle, but.... :P I love that Oz and Willow finally got some time. Its a great ship. tbh. im all for most ships in this show xD. The polarization between Buffy and Kendra is very obvious and does drive home some points for both of them I think. And as Kendra says, A slayer is what you are, not a job you choose. Xander/Cordelia is always good for a laugh and they play it soo well. I hope your Christmas was great, and all my best wishes :).

Jim Greer

Things are about to get real . Happy New Year everyone .

Gina St Phillips

I heard an interview a long time ago where Alyson and Seth said they had known each other for years before Buffy, having both been child actors in the business. Their chemistry is PERFECT and I adore them together.

Allan Cornett

Just became a Patreon because you are reacting to my favorite show of all time. I have been watching TV for over 50 years and this is still my favorite show.

Ian

Happy Christmas 😃 I'm catching up slowly 😃 another great fun reaction cheers dak 💙

Jon Dub

They were in a film together as kids called My Stepmom is an Alien. They were boyfriend and girlfriend in that movie when they were about 11 years old.

Leonard Ledung

I'm guessing someone might have asked before, but where did episode 9 go?
