Hello All!

MOTW episode that had me HOOKED! The possibility of Buffy's relationship with her mum being destroyed had me nervy!! Hated that!! Luckily it all worked out no thanks to the psycho robot!! Holy hell, he was something else he was! Glad he's 'on the scrapheap...of life' now haha. Willow geeking out over the technology was great & Giles & Jenny back again Bebeh!!!

Ì think he played in 8 simple rules. sadly he passed away during the filming of that show. I'm always torn about this episode. On one hand its a really good episode, and you can see the hurt on Buffy's face. On the other hand, I immediately hated that Ted in here with a vengeance, and whenever I see this episode I wanna punch im in the gonads.

This is where the age of the viewer comes into play because Dakara knows John Ritter from 8 Simple Rules. However, if you are older, you know that John was one of the biggest TV stars of the 70s due to the show Three's Company.

I love John Ritter physical comedy (You should definitly watch the movie Noises Off!). We didn't see that in this episode and I hated Ted with a passion (no cause to effect relation here). I wonder if Ritter got the role exclusively because he looks harmless and is SO good at falling down stairs (Again, Noises Off, people!)

Noises Off was hilarious! John Ritter and Three's Company were part of my childhood, so I was quite sad when he died from an undiagnosed heart defect. Seeing him on Buffy was a treat for me. His son Jason is a very good actor, too.

I always find this one super creepy and tend to skip it. John Ritter was excellent as the psycho-robot-villian, which totally messed with my head because I grew up with his comedy on Three's Company. I actually met him once, and he was lovely. I did the child actor thing for a hot minute, and 30 years ago (gods, I feel old) I was an extra on the set of Problem Child 2. I was in a scene with him and he asked me my name shook my hand and was very nice to my starstruck 11 year old self.

Three's Company aired here in the UK, but I am fairly certain I am at least 15 years older than Dakara, so thats why she would know him from 8 Simple Rules. When I first saw this episode I was like "Huh its the dude from Three's Company"
