This episode was HUGE! Massive! Give me more adjectives for large PLZZZzzzz. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Buffy & Angel be getting HEATED and I am here for it! They did the dirty & it all ended in screams...HeyOh...seriously though, Angel you okay?? JENNY HOW COULD YOU???? I trusted you damnit!!! The Dru & Spike scenes are great as always! Forever captivated by them. The Judge was a bit meh tbh. I've seen stronger smurfs, just saying. Oz now knows about Vamps too & I am SHOOK! I am so sorry I am clearly too hyped over this one...again, really enjoyed & hope you guys did too.

I never understood why anyone is suspicious of Jenny (no one calls her Janna, she is Jenny Calendar) after this episode. Like, yeah, she had other reasons to be around and had secrets. But I think it´s fairly clear that she has good intentions. Since she only helped them up until now.

Oh boy. This episode is just soo good. And yes this is it. Also Dak, get your mind out of the gutter :D it was in there from the beginning this epsiode xD. loved it. Drusilla is absolutely crazy, and i love it. Willow still is too adorable and you just root for Willow and Oz every time. Their interaction is great, and I love Oz. Really i love almost all the ships in this show. Also. moxie is the same as like, spunk, and sass. For Jenny there were hints that there is more to her character. She was shown to have an exceptional knowledge of the occult since the beginning. Another fun note. The actor that plays our blue man group exile. He's already played more villains in buffy before this. I do believe he was the vampire Luke from season 1. and some others too i think. Can't wait for the next one, as this season is just amazing :D.

People have gone back through the earlier episodes and found Angel wearing the ring with the heart pointed towards him since at least episode 3 this season, just shows how much this show thinks things out ahead. This and the next episode originally aired back to back nights when they were changing the night the show ran on so at least we only had to wait a day to find out what happens.

Willow speaking to the monkey in French in Buffy’s first dream is also a clue the dream is prophetic. In episode 10 when Oz has the Animal Crackers he uses a French accent to talk like the monkey cracker. Willow says, “The monkey is French?” And Oz says “All monkeys are French.” Since Buffy wasn’t around during this conversation she has no way to know that was said.

This is the best show ever, honestly. So, the character Oz was based on a friend of the shows creator, Joss Whedon, that he met in college. Apparently a really cool mono-syllabic dude.

I think it demonstrates how intelligent Oz is. His response was, "that explains a lot, actually." Unlike other Sunnydalers, Oz sees what is really going on. And of course, yes, he is super chill about it, lol.

Perfect observation. At the end the monkey is Oz, who indeed is present at the Bronze as Willow's date during the party. Anyway, doesn't it seem a little presumptuous of the writers to believe that the audience would remember such little detail of an episode aired weeks before?

A little list of a slayer's special skills for future references: Supernatural strength, speed, reflexes, etc., basically the entire enchilada of all the physical abilities. She can withstand with no problem energy discharges that would take down any normal human being. She can absorb an incredible amount of damage and her wounds, even the most serious ones, heal incredibly fast. Last but not least of course … prophetic dreams. FYI I would like to suggest you to get used to Buffy's prophetic dreams and learn how to read them because, shocking, you will see many others in the future. However not as many as I would have liked, I really enjoy them. One small complaint about the episode. The last scene at the factory, Buffy and Angel get caught too easily, they don't even try to fight back, and we've already seen Buffy take down multiple enemies without too much trouble. Even when they escape, they seem to be running away in fear from a couple of generic vampires, come on! I understand the final goal of the entire sequence, and I know that the internal consistency of these things it's not exactly a cornerstone in the show, but still the scene looks to me quite forced … or sloppy written, your pick. Question, is it just me or even to someone else seemed a little possessive of Angel to say “you belong to someone”? Don't you think that “you belong with someone” sounds better. BTW - I hate when you post a comment, Patreon increase the number of comments in your profile, but it doesn't really load the comment.

I always find it interesting how different people read or react to the same thing differently, really. For me, for example, the show really started with "Welcome to Hellmouth", and for this season I always found "When she was bad" more emotional and impactful than "Surprise".

Let me be a little naughty here. We would have really seen the consequences of sex if Buffy hadn't wisely chosen to have her first time with Angel. Considering that she's a slayer, I don't think an ordinary guy could have kept up with her stamina and energy. Not to mention that if she got too carried away he would end up with some broken bones.

One more small ability mentioned in episode 1. She can in certain circumstances sense the presence of vampires. The movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer is very silly and not very good. But the basic story and lore is canon, if you want to learn more. Perhaps you could do a drunk reaction video to it. Definitely recommend the drunk part. 😂😂

This episode seems to have been made to drag your mind into the gutter. 😂 From not knowing if she was coming or going [to school] at Angel's place at the start. To having a little snuggle on the dock before being pulled off [by a vamp]. Not to mention how many times they got wet. Looking back, all the signs were there for them to have some horizontal refreshment this time. Think that's my innuendo quota used up. To answer your question, portent is a sign/omen.

That was a great episode and a great reaction. It is interesting how "being crude" is a diffrent thing for different people... I didn't think you had any major out of place comment, personnally. (If you needed the reassurance...) I love Oz. The way he asked Willow out, the way SunnyDale being a Vampire infested town just made sens to him... He's cool, he's smart, he is kind, he is funny. I want more!! For some reason, he reminds me of Wash in Firefly (do you think I'm a little daft and it's just a hair thing?) Come to think of it, a fanfiction with Oz and Wash would be amazing if anybody here is up for it... Of course, they were tons of good stuff in this episode, with all the ships and some kind of character development for many of them. But on this viewing, Oz and Willow got the bulk of my attention.

I think you’re the only one that’s asked about TWD really. I will be watching it, I wanna know how it ends but my excitement for the show lowered with all the copyright issues I had on YouTube. The full reactions will be on here when I get the spark back but I doubt they’ll end up on YouTube for a good while
