Hello cuties,

What an ep, yet again! Utter fire. I did not expect it to go down this way, was a ride though! That fight scene was intense & showed so well that Buffy & Faith's skills are on par (almost at least). There are some big moments in this episode relationship wise too, we had some encouragement with Anya & Xander, plus Willow & Oz getting closer - heyoohhhh. I do think they're great together. I know  Oz isn't much of an expressionist but he does care deeply& is super happy, even if he doesn't show it on the outside. Giles being the protective father figure for Buffy again will always make my heart full. Bring on this finale!

Notice that the thing Faith was most worried about was that the Mayor would continue to need her. Were the handcuffs Buffy used the ones she was arrested in, with Faith, in Bad Girls or the ones Joyce gave her in Band Candy? No, I didn't predict the last episode. At all. Enjoy!

The finaly of this season (as its a double epi ) is soo tense. It really draws you in. I think hurting angel is the surefire way to get Buffy to do something she orignninally didn't want to. Buffy quiting the council is one of my fav moments in the show, because cmon.... The fcking counsil are d*cks. every fcking time. All the relationship scenes are done soo well once again and i love how anya's slowly getting included. Great reaction, and cant wait for the finale :)

Quality episode but faith is doing my noggin in 😡 saw Austin powers the other day and now I can't see Oz in the same way lol a Dr evil cameo would be hilarious. Haven't seen polo mints in a while 😃used to love the fruity ones , anyway roll on part 2 it's going to be crazy 😃

I can't believe I never thought of this before. In season 2 Buffy was trying to figure out what career she could have, why not be a martial arts instructor? That would be the equivalent of a librarian Watcher.

Or a cop, she would be out at crime scenes of vampire and demon victims etc and if she is caught at night fighting or killing things she can just be like its ok im a cop.

I'm sure you have a lot on your plate right now, and I don't know if you were even considering watching Angel, but season four of Buffy is when season one of Angel starts and as there's some character and story crossover its (imo) a good idea to watch them simultaneously because it will be kind of weird to essentially go back in time after finishing Buffy. There's also some stuff in the later seasons of Buffy that's actually explained in Angel too. Anyway, just a thought. Loving the reactions so far!

Good point to bring that up actually. I´ve just been assuming Dakara would probably watch them both simultaneously using the usual guide, since basically every reactor does it this way.

I pretty much stopped trying to predict where this show was going after the twist half-way through season 2 when Angel turned bad.

Trying to remember back to when I first saw this... Did I think they'd survive the ascension? Yes, I'm fairly certain I thought the whole main cast would survive. If nothing else, I'm almost positive that by the time this aired the WB had announced both that Buffy was renewed for season 4 and that Angel was getting a spin-off. Likewise, based on previous seasons I'm fairly certain I felt confident that they'd defeat the mayor. I probably even guessed there'd be a big showdown between Faith and Buffy. As for any of the specifics... No, almost definitely not. I'd even go so far as to say I had no clue how they were going to resolve things after this cliffhanger. They did a really good job of getting to a "bad as things can get" point before hitting us with "To be continued". I *might* have guessed right about the method by which Buffy would cure Angel, and that Faith wasn't 100% all-the-way dead, but I can't even swear that I saw either coming. Even if I had, I wouldn't have put money on either guess being right. There had already been too many places where the show had zigged when I thought it would zag.
