Hello you Buffy Beauts,

New season is now upon us!! 4x01! Buffy riddled with anxiety gave me second hand anxiety - hated seeing her uncomfortable like this. Great to see her overcome it though! Xander was amazing this episode & I loved to see him truly pull Buffy up and reassure her of her self worth & power! College is a completely different vibe but I do like it & it excites me to watch more & see how she settles in! Hope you're all ready to join me on this journey???

You should totally be attracted to Giles, I was when I first watched the show. :D Seriously though, the other male characters were cool to me, but attractiveness wise they were all a bit meh; Giles on the other hand, that caring side, mixed with intelligence, mixed with a bit of bad boy toughness, unf! Totally hot. :D Eddie is played by Pedro Pascal as well, Game of Thrones actor, as you noticed, also The Mandalorian. :)

I hope and trust that Venice is also telling you when not to watch the titles (you can drum along, just close your eyes), as they can occasionally be spoilery (Buffy and Angel). Bit of a transition episode this between the old setup and new. But, time for a bit of character development (even if gross). And, as always, enjoyable.

Loved this episode. Mirrored what I went through at college and uni (minus the murderous vampires of course!) and I suspect this resonated with a lot of others as well. Also loved Xander's role in this ep. He can absolutely be an ass and say/do some stupid things, but when it comes to Buffy and his friends, he won't hesitate to jump into the fray and help them out, which is something I've always really appreciated about him.

I never really got American college, is tv accurate? Do you really need to take like a science credit, language credit, x y z credits. Like if you wanted to major in law, why waste a semester or what ever learning spanish or how to identify volcanic rocks or what ever. Like I did accounting at uni, so I did accounting, economics, law, and other related subjects. Just a random thought while watching this episode.

I think it's more or less like this - the OU in the UK is the same - degrees require some mandatory units, but you can more or less make up your own course depending on how much you want to specialise. I like it.

There's usually some number of "core" credits that you need so that you have broad exposure to a number of subjects. You'll usually be done with those within the first two years of college (possibly sooner if you took AP courses in high school, which count for college credit as long as you score high enough on the AP exam for that class). After that, you're free to focus exclusively on your major, although you can still take any other classes the college offers as electives.

What I'm most grateful for about the difference between the typical US college experience and my UK one is that I got a room to myself. I shared a kitchen with ten other people, but at night I could lock my door and sleep without having to hear anyone else sleeping.

So... I'm very late watching it xD. Had a busy couple of weeks. I enjoyed the video. Buffy was definetly overwhelmed and just not there with her head in the fights, and thus lost. She's came to a place where she didnt feel she fit in soo much, and everyone else did soo much easier. Deff made her feel alone. I think you were spot on with your thoughts. :)

Ha. Those coffee adverts were on all the time when I was a kid. There were so many of them and they ran for a few years. Such a cool/fun idea! + they were cute together.
