HUGE episode! I loved this one so much. Adalind got hit with everything here, Nick destroying her & she was completely left by her own mother & the Captain. Yikes! Rosalie is quickly becoming my fav! I just love her. Poor Hank had it rough, let's hope he's safe now! Things are picking up...

Okay, here’s my take on the Captain, the mother, and Adeline. Captain: Honestly, for the most part he seems to be a neutral party in some sort of organization, presumably a royal one, or former royal one, given context clues. He seems tough but also seems to try to keep damages to a minimum. While his words to Adeline after this seem cruel, it could also be him forcefully pushing her out of this situation since she no longer has any way of fending for herself. Mother: Witch with a b. Straight up. One of those parents who expects their children to be perfection incarnate just to barely be passable. She’ll likely die and I do hope it hurts. Adeline: She’s very much a product of her surroundings, and she craves approval from her mother and the captain while being a bit of a brat around normal people. Honestly, her line about having nothing annoys me, though. Oh no, I lost the powers I was using to hurt people, now all I have are my gorgeous looks, nice house, and well off lawyer career! Woe is me🙄

Note, I didn't say he wasn't Royalty of the Reapers, maybe he is King Death, Lord of the Reapers. Maybe he wants to recruit Nick as his 'scythe', maybe the Lowen don't like the Reapers so they disrespect the top guy. There's a host of possibilities for the Captain, that's what makes his story/character intriguing, you just don't know.

I did find it a bit odd when I first watched the show that it took Nick as long as it did to actually try and work out what that key was. His Aunt gives him this really important item, and then he sticks it away somewhere and just forgets about it for a while?

I agree, he’s always been a fascinating character from his first appearance and still has so much mystery around him. Plz know I wasn’t referring to any comment you gave about being a spoiler it was someone on YouTube. Just have to remind people that if it hasn’t been proven on the ep I’m on to not let me know otherwise :)

If i was given the ability to see monsters, had people trying to kill me every other week, a seemingly rocky relationship with the long term girlfriend and a key, i would assume the key would be low on my list of priorities.

It's meant to be German, so it would pronounced 'Vessen' (w is pronounced as v in the German language). :)

Behind the scenes trivia: all of the stuff that Wu ate, except for the coins, which is why you don't see him swallow them, were edible props. From memory the couch cushion & the carpet were cake, the paperclips were chocolate painted with edible silver colour, & the Chapstick was some sort of confectionary substance.

Hexe is witch singular, Hexen is witch plural. Biest is beast, so Hexenbiest literally translated is witches beast.
