THE FINALE IS HERE! Hope you enjoy the reaction. It was an INTENSE episode, they always smash it out the park. Some things I do have an issue with that I discuss at the end & would love your opinions on those in the comment section below. I'm hyped for S4! There's potential for adding intensity for sure! I thought of your idea at first as well, with homelander losing his powers. But if he lost his powers, he would be killed in an instant. there is literally not one of our characters other than Ryan, that would let him live even a second, even Ashley would shoot him immediately. That kind of plot idea needs to be further down the line

Some of your issues don't really hold tbh, your issue about them not taking out homelander doesn't work because Ryan was there. If butcher did his plan, Ryan would die. That's why they stopped SB. Kimiko explained her reasoning for wanting to take the V again in her text, her whole point is that she thought the V made her awful, but it didn't. Starlight frustrated me too, but it's not like she likes working with the people she does, it's just easier to justify taking out SB because he's not tied to her job.

I had exactly the same issues with this finale. I wish they'd had SB "take out" Homelander. Like with Maeve, I don't think HL would have died, but he'd have lost his powers. That would have been enough to neutralize him. Then for season 4 we could see the results of that. How HL would deal with not having power. That would be really cool. We could see HL as he tries to get his powers back, like Kamiko does. I don't see why they didn't choose that option. Would have been really interesting. Instead, it feels like the entire season was mostly for naught. But things are different, just not the main part.

I didn't care for some of this finale either.<p></p> <p>1) I hate Starlight. She's so sanctimonious. She didn't ever try to understand what Hughie was trying to say. Now granted, Hughie did act like a dick some of the season. But it was coming from his fears. Also, she's worked with the worst of the worst for several years, but all of a sudden she's all in on killing SB?! </p> <p>2) TAKE OUT HL FIRST, then deal with SB. 3) Since when can a normal human whip up the world's most dangerous neurotoxin in a lab in five minutes, <b>Without protective gear</b>?!!!! </p> <p>I'm glad Maeve got away and got her happy ending. I wish Kimiko had realized she could still protect her family without the V. She never wanted it, hated it. But now she's all in?</p> <p>Becca is probably spinning in her grave at how Butcher treated Ryan (even if he thought it was to protect him), and that now the world has two Homelanders.</p> <p>I forsee Grace possibly releasing SB since HL took Ryan from her and Butcher wouldn't answer her calls. Or Victoria, because if the Boys make her the focus next season, Victoria is going to need a strong ally. And SB now has <b>another</b> team that betrayed him. He's the ONLY one who hasn't gone back on his word.</p>

It's funny to me that at the end, to Noir HL was worse than SB, (Well, all around he is) SB never befriended Noir before injuring him. Noir was murdered by the one he trusted the most.

My biggest issue with this finale, is them focusing Soldier Boy. Especially Annie, after Homelander told her what he'd do if he had nothing to lose. In what world is SB the bigger threat, compared to the guy that says he'll wipe out New York, for fun. I'm sorry, for me it feels like a betrayal of the characters, in order to continue the show with Homelander as the big bad.

Well I for one am not going to be negative about the finale , kumikos smile alone along with her feet dancing to the intro of maniac was enough to overshadow anything else . Noir dying was a shame but he's not added much to the show from day one really so doubt anyone will even notice he's gone tbh . Happy for mauve love her even if we barely say her in the show compared with everyone else , the way your face lit up when you realised she was breaking free dak was a delight 🙂 pretty sure butcher will end up taking the blue v now rather than just die but who knows at this point 🤷 . I see our we have seen to he last of as soldier boy tbh seems sketchy they would just freeze him again rather than kill him so I have high hopes Jensen will be bk 👍 loved seeing Salem making a guest appearance those golden yellow eyes 😍🥰 such a beautiful Kittie 😻 thanks as always dak this season along with you has been fantastic loved every second of it keeping my fingers crossed for cobra Kai now 😀🤞

Loved the finale. Sad that we may not see Soldier Boy next season, just have to watch Jensen in Big Sky. Loved the scene with MM and Janine at the end. Also loved that Ashley deleted the footage of Maeve, she does have a heart after all. Also loved seeing Hughie's face when he realized he needed to help Annie rather than taking the V and his look of pride when she powered up. The end with Homelander and Ryan was scary to see Ryan's face when Homelander killed that man and seeing all the people cheering. Guess we have to wait to see if Butcher lives for 12 mos or 18 mos, and the show is picked up for season 5.

Anyone else got the vibe Ryan only plays along to HL? He wanted to leave with HL as butcher was in trouble and it looked like a forced smile at the end . Also i somehow guess ashley 2 will rat ashley 1 out ...
