Hello All!

Season 2 isn't messing around! Great episode yet again. Prince Renard is now pure of heart, how will this effect him & his plans??? I swear he looked like lucifer during this one?!!! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! Juliet has lost all memory of Nick but has now woke from the coma. Rosalie & Monroe are a married couple & no one can tell me otherwise. Nick's mum is a badass with ninja like tendencies - I am here for this!

I can't remember which episode it was, but Renard did say previously that he was worried about losing Nick if Juliette didn't wake up. He obviously needs Nick for something, although the show hasn't made it clear just what. With Renard being a Prince, and the Grimm's traditionally working for the Royals, one could assume that Renard wants Nick to work for him; but then that begs the question why doesn't he just come right out and introduce himself? I do love how they keep giving us breadcrumbs with Renard, but without fully explaining who he is & what he's up to.

The purification scene with Renard had its own hashtag on Twitter for a while, #"shirtless rage". Sasha Roiz, who plays Renard, noticed the hashtag and started leaning into it to have a bit of fun and banter with the Grimm fandom. Like I've said before Renard became a very popular character in the fandom, and I think at least some of that had to do with just how cool and friendly Sasha was to the Grimm fans.

I was really curious about Renard too. But, back when I was first watching, I was mostly annoyed at the storyline they were sending Juliette down. I wasn't a fan. It was the sort of thing that happens too often and seems too easy of an out, to keep two people apart. Just when Juliette finally finds out, this happens. Its as if the writer's felt that Nick and Juliette needed to be separated or something. She could be so useful and could help Nick out. That's what I thought. ugh

Nick's mom has been dead for like 15 years or something like that, she would know to stay off the raider by avoiding cameras, highly public places and the police. The show showcased her skills throughout a couple episodes so if she is to leave town I would not expect her to go to a train station to catch a train which is why she stopped short and stole the car

Renard does mention in one of the earlier episodes that Juliette is Nick's anchor to the city and he needs it to stay that way. Although with Juliette now going all, "new number, who this?" on Nick, Renard's got his work cut out there lol
