Hi everyone! For the past few months, I’ve been writing several chapters for Roaring Spirits and I think its safe to say I’m getting closer to finally launching the comic early next year! I’m hoping to start serializing sometime in January!

I wanna ask some of you guys first here on Patreon — what do you wanna know more about the world of Roaring Spirits?

Could be anything thats general, like

- characters

- setting + locations

- lore/rules of the world aspects

I have a bunch of stuff written down for this in a personal pitch bible, but I would love gage with you guys what I should depict in visual form! But I also don’t wanna give too much of the game away, so I’ll pick and choose whats best and leave some of the juicy stuff for you guys to read later~ Thanks!

1: What kind of crime mysteries do you plan for the series? 2: How will they connect to the college setting? 3: Do you have plans for a snow leopard character?

To answer questions 1 and 2, Jackie takes and solve cases usually from the students at the university campus, basically serving as the school's own Personal Investigator. These cases will range from small things like small crimes like investigating stolen items/menial requests, to overarching bigger ones that intertwine between Jackie's personal and school life.

Camille the Cavalry

Is it going to be like a "crime of the week" kind of arc that eventually unfolds into a larger overarching villain for the broader story? Or is it nore slice of life style?

I wanna say its a bit of both? Definitely want to have some time to let the characters grow, since the crime stuff is only like a half part of the comic! Its still largely about martial arts and fighting, i’m hoping it makes more sense when the series continues :)

Iceking 2000

How did Jackie's powers(?) Form? Was it something she learned or is a genetic thing?(like passed down a bloodline) are there others out there who have similar abilities with other elements like electricity or frost?

Fox 1-1

1: What does Ash do besides studying and fighting? Does she work anywhere? 2: You'd probably want to keep this for the comic itself, but why exactly are Ash and Jackie rivals?

1. Will be explained in the comic, but all I can say is it is usually something awakened by an event for the individual. 2. Yes, but its not exclusively limited to elements :)

1. She’s a local boxer who participates in fight matches for money, but exploring career options in school. 2. Will be explained in the comic, but all I can say is they have a history that goes way back to childhood. 😉
