Hey guys!

It's the first monday of the month, which means it is podcast day! We'll be recording at 4pm PT in the discord. If you need help getting set up in there, please send me a message!

Please comment below if you have anything you'd like us to talk about. :) The podcast will be uploaded tomorrow, so if you miss the live recording, you'll still be able to listen to it.

See you there!

I’m looking for new recipes, what are some things you like to cook?

Can you tell why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

Jonii

Apologies if this has already been asked, but: Would you guys ever do another video with Derek and Grace copresenting like the Nintendo Names video or the little tag team Shining Force GBA segment?

Anonymous

Are you familiar with the anime series Precure? I have a tattoo based on it. Also, do you use Letterboxd?

Gregory Walsh

Hey Derek, Grace, Happy New Year! As far as new games (not ones for videos, just for fun), what are you looking forward to this year?

Kirbonic Pikmin

With how often you guys talk about more obscure franchises and games that never quite reached the West, have you ever heard about or considered talking about the Touhou Project franchise to any capacity? There's probably plenty of stuff that could be talked about from fanworks to official titles in general. Hell even just it's strange, cultural osmosis impact on the internet at large could be fun.

Tyler King

You do anything nice for celebrating your Patreon's revenue exploding?

Korey Burns

Any thoughts on the news about a possible release of Goldeneye 64 on Xbox after all these years?

Levi Reid

What's a game you've really enjoyed, but you know not a lot of other people have experienced it due to either hardware expense/rarity or simply no one talking about it?

Richard Tango Taylor

As a gaming couple how do you find sharing a game that you both want to play but isn’t a co op or multiplayer title, is it difficult to not see spoilers when watching?

TreeTheOak

Updates on the patreon goals as well as what Derek's hair routine are.

Jason Wendleton

Am I crazy for wanting a RoboChibi remake?

Will G.

How many weird peripheral tweets do you get quote tweeted or reply tagged in in a week? I see so many and it makes me smile every time. (And I love trying to be the first.)

Karl

Nothing to ask really, just happy that you are better off taking this gamble and looking forward to videos that will rarely be below 20 minutes long in the future.

Welcome back from holidays! Did SSFF see the new Resident Evil movie?

Anonymous

Did you see the Resi 2 VR mod? Seems weird, ambitious, and unnecessary... tempted?

Aimee!!!!!

Once you stop the skeletons from fighting, how do you plan to organize reparations? How will you determine where to send aid and how to reintegrate the skeleton communities?

Has there ever been a video topic you've wanted to do but couldn't based on the value of the item/game, or just don't think it would fly on youtube?

What is your favourite Dreamcast game and your least favourite Dreamcast game?

Quinton C.

First off, happy new year! Second, I wanted to thank you for mentioning Inscryption in the last episode. I picked it up when it was on sale and I couldn’t put it down. Finally, my actual question is: do you guys think we will ever shut the “pandora’s box” of endless monetization for AAA games? I feel like Games as a Service and Battle Passes really drove us to where we are now, with Square Enix’s latest post about NFTs being a prime example of chasing the newest money making fad. I miss the days when horse armor was all we had to worry about.

Are you guys interested in the final fantasy pixel remasters that have come out on pc ?

Anonymous

Do you two have a favorite game or a game that you keep returning to in a genre that you do not normally play?

Y.

What was your favorite overlooked game of 2021? Any titles that deserve more love?

Javisflip

Do you guys think Nintendo should let people buy the NSO retro games (SNES, NES, N64) individually as an option rather than paying for the subscription?

Javisflip

Have you guys thought about uploading video versions of the podcast?

Anonymous

hi! i love all the talking you do about doom. have you ever played blood? i got into it last year and it's been a constant for me, i keep coming back to it. i think it's the best-feeling retro FPS i've ever played

Mr K

Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you, you could, you’ll do, you, you wants, you, you could do so, you, you’ll do, you could, you, you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything?

catb0mb

Have you watched the Power On documentary the official xbox youtube channel posted a few weeks back? If so, was there anything from the final part (which focused primarily on the botched reveal and launch of the xbone) that you wish you knew prior that you could've put in your past mortem on it? Or from any other part for that matter that could relate to your other xbox past mortems? (RRoD, Kinect)
