Hi guys!

Now that the Zeebo Past Mortem is done, and the next Delisted is close to post-production, Derek and I were feeling nostalgic for a good ol' fashioned Doom Ports video.  I think some of these are an inevitability, so don't feel bad if any of these options don't win.

One note, the "PSX Port + Final Doom" option would partially be a bit of a remake of this classic HVGN episode Derek made TEN YEARS AGO , except better because we both know a lot more about Doom now. Also Derek says he has more to say on it and trust me, once you get this guy started on Doom... there's a video that happens. 

The Delisted would cover these three games because they are the only ones we have access to atm.

Doom 3 is not Derek's favorite Doom but he's spent many hours telling me that the Xbox versions are PRETTY COOL so I'm inclined to believe that it would be a fun video. I'm certain it would inspire some spirited shotgun discussion at the very least.

And finally, the Switch ports because, why not?

Has Doom 64 already been covered on the channel? Or just... covered enough online to not need coverage? Also I may have voted for the Xbox port of 3 because I like just... seeing that game's lighting. But I also want the PSX video lol

I feel like so little us known [to most people] about the old Doom j2me games of the mid 2000's. A lot of folks don't know they tried to cross doom over into other genres on mobile, lol.

I voted for PSX but I am curious about what you both think of the OTHER Doom ports on the Switch since they brought all 3 of the originals when I think Eternal came out.

Personally I thought the RE4 iPhone port vid you guys did was pretty awesome, mostly because it was new information I'd never had a chance to dive into before. And I'm seeing the same thing with those weird 'delisted' iPhone Doom titles. Doom RPG? Dude, sounds like a riot! Could build it up from the weird ports and then back to your favorite ports, call the saga 'Doomsday' or something like that :) Whatever you guys come up with will be fun as always. Happy to look forward to it!

I know you mention, it's already covered elsewhere - but as long as it was clearly labelled as just for those few versions, so be it. Whilst I'd love to see a SSFF spin on Doom Over the years, looking at the miracle of the SNES version, the fact the 3DO Version was knocked up by one bloody person, etc (other videos tend to focus on all the negatives), maybe others think the topic has been done enough elsewhere. But Uncle Derek's Positivity is just so infectious!

I go with delisted games. But I would like to see Derek's take on Doom Resurrection 32X, is an amazing hack. Really awesome. 😊

Always down for a Doom video. I'd like to see Doom 3 get some love. It was a great title, in it's own right.

The Doom 3 port is super interesting just because it's so insane what they pulled off. It's like the Doom SNES port levels of impressive in a lot of ways in that sense. The collector's edition also comes with some pretty solid ports of the Doom 1 and 2 which was a super nice bonus and they even have an exclusive new level each.
