As per the post earlier today, here's the first episode of Uncle Derek Underground or UDUG! Our new monthly, Patreon-Exclusive series! In this video I play and talk about a bunch of McDonald's video games that are all kinda of really good! No endorsement of them, but it's kinda wild that their track record with video games is rock solid.

Something I didn't mention in the last post, this video and the second episode were shot before our trip and edited by our talented friends while we were on said trip. So I was not sick with covid while making these videos, just so you know. But the reason this video didn't go up last week was because I was sick from covid.

I like when you do these 1-2 streams where you run through 15-20 minutes on each game. You had one on Mega Man Game Boy games or something like 10 years ago that I can't find anymore (so maybe I made it up). It's a good format to loosely run through a series/topic that's less prepared but allows your personality to shine through (without getting bored by multi-hour streams of just one game).

Definitely enjoyed this, and going off another comment, the idea of revisiting the Game Boy Mega Man games sounds great. (Especially with there being a color romhack of MMV available now, if that sort of thing would be up your alley.) Also interested in seeing more Doom! Or other shootybangs, I'd love to see a Gettin' Super Nerdy Lite on the spooky stuff in the rest of DUSK since only the first episode was around when you did the video on it way back when.

Loved the episode! The part where you showed McDonaldLand/Spot: The cool adventure reminded me of another GameBoy game that did exactly the same: - Mickey Mouse II - Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle II - Hugo Those are all exactly the same game, but with different sprites. Found it really peculiar especially since the first two are both hugely popular franchises
