The weirdest turn in the journey? (Patreon)

Hello, the past two weeks have not gone how I expected them to go. That's for sure. Just a couple days after my last post, my computer shut off and didn't turn back on, and we confirmed the power supply had died. So I was without a computer for about a week, and a pipe burst under my house, meaning I also couldn't use my shower. I spent the week practicing a little guitar, reading Lord Of The Rings, and playing Elden Ring on my Steam Machine while I stank like a true gamer. It was a unique time. I still feel like Elden Ring's combat is a bit silly, but I was really desperate for a deep, dense game to get my hands on, and it certainly is a video game. I started listening to the Lord Of The Rings audiobook voiced by Andy Serkis, whenever I'm not in the mood to read with my eyes. It's quite awesome; my Lord Of The Rings adventure had stalled for a long time, but it's gotten going again.
I was uncertain whether the data on my computer would survive whatever happened to it, and since I'd only been working on Grugga for a serious amount of time since my last backup, Grugga's life was the only thing really on the line. But he survived just fine. I am really thankful to my friends for helping me with getting my PC back in working order.
After I got my computer back, rather than getting right back into work on Lethal Company at a fast pace (which is a bit difficult now), I've had a good friend teaching me to use Git for version control and collaboration, and I am planning to give him a part-time job for at least a little while, to test the waters when it comes to working on Lethal Company with other people. Yes you heard that right. I had a tiny bit of time to think about it during the break. It's very untreaded waters, and this is very, very early on, so I don't know if it will come to anything yet. We'll see how it goes!
So now it's pretty certain that the update won't be coming out in October. I would like it to be a turkey update, as some of you called it, but it depends on how things go. I was really gunning for October, because "it's October and I HAVE to have a Halloween update", but now I'm kind of okay with losing that burden.
