Hey yall. Big big ups to all of you, you've been very supportive of the channel and the patreon recently, and I appreciate that so very much. it's been really inspiring to working hard on much more patreon-exclusive content than we've ever had, including Minecraft: A Human Story, Reviews 000, exclusive OTGs, etc etc. Been fun.

So you're here. As I edit the one hundred and fiftieth Zelda episode of One Time Glitch (right?? let's goooo patreon exclusive lol) I can't HELP BUT WONDER: Is this what you're looking for? Zelda glitches and Zelda eggbusters until the end of time?

It's no secret we've got a Resident Evil 2 Remake eggbusters in the works, a Hitman 2016 Eggbusters further down, VG Wham coming back soon, but............ what keeps you here? What videos do you go back to over and over? What video made you go "Okay, I'll be a patron now". What do you look for in a stream? What do you want public, vs what do you want patreon-exclusive?

Talk to me. I will probably ignore everything you say so be as honest as you like! Thanks yall. appreciate you.

I would like to know: What video made you go "Okay, I will now be a patreon supporter now"?

PLEASE bring back art appreciation and more junk snacks (long time subscriber so I remember those when they were still coming out on thatoneshowfun!) or any series like those, your non gaming stuff was just as good if not better :))))

Thomas Stremfel

I luv just ur reviews. U bring v interesting mindsets to the table

DAVERGAMER

Personally, I’m a bigger fan of eggbusters then of the other series but those in a nutshell videos you did a long while ago I really enjoyed, the quick edits and jokes I felt we really funny. I’m not saying bring it back but stuff like would be neat.

Bones

My favorite videos on the channel are any and all videos containing out of bounds glitches My favorite series these days is probably VG Wham Theres just something fun about exploring obscure games that you would otherwise most likely never experience It would be very neat if you did more art appreciation videos (as patreon exclusives?)

TurboK

My favorite series is also VG Wham, the concept is brilliant and your take on it is great. I don't remember what video made me a Patreon member, but I think I was going through the back-log of Eggbuster and almost had caught up. Heard that there was more content on the Patreon so decided to join :)

I believe I joined here whenever you first advertised it, so I'm sorry I can't answer the "what video made you a patron" question. My favorite types of videos are the ones where you just throw a new format at the wall to see if it sticks, even it it's not related to video games. Art Appreciation, More Junk Snacks, In a Nutshell, What Can YouTube Teach Us About, etc. The videos where I'm left thinking, "Only Austin could have possibly made that" are exactly what I'm here for. And since even the more "mainstream" videos have that feel in the commentary and editing style, I'm content with whatever you put out. I also don't care about Patreon exclusivity, and I think one of Patreon's biggest drawbacks is that it almost encourages putting content behind a paywall. If you make something like a video that's free and instant to share with the masses, I'd rather have it out there on your public-facing channel. That allows more people to enjoy what you've made and ensures that each thing you've worked hard on has greatest the potential to be appreciated. In short, I like whatever you're putting your heart into. Keep up the good work.

Leaked sex tape........ JK it was VG Wham 💙💙

If I remember correctly, it was one of the Spider-Man PS4 videos that sealed the deal. Mostly I’m fine with whatever you make, it always has that classic Austin feel. That being said, *please* bring back the Eggbusters DVD commentaries, I freaking loved those, and they always put me right to sleep (which is a good thing).

I joined a few VG Whams ago. VG Wham is one of my favorite series. One of my favorite videos was an Eggbuster episode of a Call of Duty game (I think it was Ghosts?). You went out of bounds in a city area, and your commentary during that section is one of my favorite things. You’ve done that sort of thing in series other than Eggbusters before, so the series itself doesn’t matter as much to me. I like it when your personality really comes through, and I feel that ‘One Time Glitch’ episodes are typically too short for that to happen. Maybe you could do some videos about games that make you feel strong feelings (mostly favorites to stay positive, but negative could be interesting too). Not so much game design analysis (not that I’d be against that), but more a deep dive on how they make you feel and a bit of why that might be. For example, I know you like Fragile Dreams on Wii, despite it getting fairly middling reviews. Instead of a regular review (a kind of good/bad determination), you could talk about why the feelings of that game are unique and how it achieves those feelings. Oh, and I’m not very concerned about Patreon exclusivity.

Eggbusters brought me to the channel and I frequently rewatch some of them. VG Wham came after I became a patron, but I fell in love with it instantly and can’t wait for more. Personally, I’d pay $5/month for a quarterly Patreon exclusive VG Wham. Also, thinking in terms of variety and the algorithm - maybe target 4 videos a month on the channel (I’m being selfish here) - an eggbusters every other month, a VG Wham once a month, and either one time glitch or another show to round it out and please everybody (plus livestreams!!) But honestly, I’m happy if you put a 3 minute exclusive video on your thoughts on a random topic

Art appreciation was also one of my favorite series

It's the glitch videos, especially the longer ones, and VG Wham that I like re-watching. I enjoy your live streams too when I catch them. You make your audience feel like we're along for the ride and that's fun. I found your channel when looking up video game glitches on a whim, but I stuck around for the humor and positivity. I became a patreon after watching all the effort you put into figuring out the BOTW infinite jump glitch during that stream. Patreon exclusivity isn't important to me but if you're looking for feedback on incentives, then access to your video archive is nice and you could always keep posting your unedited streams for easy additional content. Any behind-the-scenes stuff can be fun too. 🤘

eggbusters is how i found you like five years ago i think. then i re found you a bit ago, and your minecraft stream is what made me decided to become a patreon (and that i also got a job and was out of college haha). i honestly enjoy all of your stuff. your humor and talks are great. my boyfriend doesn't watch you but he listens to me watch you and he says "yeah that egg guy is my favorite podcast, can you play the glitch failed song again?" anyways, look forward to all that is next.

TheFrickinG

Really what I value most is your sense of humor and comedic timing in your editing. I'll happily watch whatever you do if it includes those things, which your stuff always does. The thing I'm here for the least are the streams as those are a bit too long for me to invest time into watching. I like it when you try new shows like human story because it keeps things fresh and you seem to enjoy trying new things, which makes the videos all the more entertaining. Basically, as long as you keep providing that charm that makes you unique, I'll watch whatever you do. Also I want to hear more frostyn music.

JRaak

I just like it when it seems like you enjoy what you're doing. And the generally positive/goofy energy. Even your non-gaming series have been fun, like the art reviews. I don't remember when I became a patron for sure, but I think I decided to do it because of VG Wham, and the videos on ThatOneShowFUN channel. The latter I knew for sure was content that I enjoyed, but I didn't think it was likely popular enough to be self sustaining ;p.

dooptown

Your music, presentation, and style persist throughout all of your media, and it's so bizarre and unique i just find myself enjoying whatever you put out. It's a strange nostalgia for a place or time i've never been to, sort of. (I do miss More Junk Snacks tbh)

Jeremy Baxter

In terms of what should be exclusive, I think the One Time Glitch videos are great as patreon exclusives (or early releases), but that's for a really specific reason that probably(?) doesn't line up with others. On break or for a meal I'll pop open youtube (which is where a large portion of my view time comes from) and watch ideally just one video because I'm usually pressed for time. The shorter OTG videos I pass for those occasions, and by the time I boot up youtube to watch stuff in my free time, they get buried by other stuff, so having a separate place to watch them makes them easier for me to keep track of them.

Lukas but also known as Foxmosis how long can the name be

yeah i’m bad with keeping up my patreon stuff overall with anyone i’m a patron to maybe i’m an outlier (always sounds interesting but they’re videos they’re usually not going anywhere) however i became a patron prolly around the time you made the patreon i like supporting creators that make good content maybe i didn’t actually have much to say but you keep doing you i’ll be good

I became a patron after re-discovering your channel after a bit of a viewing hiatus with VG Wham! which has since become my favourite of your content. I super love Eggbusters, especially the style it eventually became, but the unique intimate part review part let's play aspect of VG Wham really captures me and makes me comfortable. I can point to VG Wham specifically as what made me become a patron. That very similar vibe shines through the Andromeda review you did and as such I would love to see some more of that. May sound like a weird critique, but I think the edited versions of Minecraft a Human Story kind of miss out on that intimacy vibe because of chat interaction. I understand that not only are livestreams good for fostering community interaction, they are also likely the most directly profitable thing you can do on your channel thanks to chat donations, and when I get the chance to catch hem they're great, but Minecraft and One Time Glitch both mostly being retooled livestreams feels a little weird, because you interacting with chat and the chat being on the screen feels like it's missing the context that the viewing experience of watching it live would bring. If I had one suggestion as a patron it would be to maybe have a live version of Minecraft plus a pre-recorded version. Outside of that I can't think of much else, pretty much everything you've done since I've become a patron has kept me entertained. Maybe access to Livestream vods?

LadyKelgana

I just love your sense of humor, don't really care what it is, i'll watch it and laugh.

AntiMS

Just keep following the art. What you're doing is working. I'm thrilled to see new Eggbusters in the works. And Zelda glitches are awesome. I love all of your content, really. But if you're asking for guidance (and you are) glitches are my first love. Eggbusters and One Time Glitch are my favorites. But I wouldn't want to see VGWham or First Try Worst Try or anything else you've been doing go away either.

There’s nothing like chilling out for 30-50 mins with a brand new eggbusters, even more special now that they’re so rare. Last years Ocarina of Time gauntlet episode was everything I love about your work... fine music, slow presentation, enjoying the journey. I’m older, I’m in my 30s so streaming doesn’t interest me much and I’m so busy I never really get to “be involved”. I just enjoy that time for myself when I can just sit in a quiet house with nothing going on and enjoy watching a really entertaining performer doing something like nobody else. I genuinely laugh, eggbusters has got me through some of the roughest times in my life. I feel like that’s not what you want to hear these days, and I know financially it’s not enough to be viable, but you’ve got an audience that will listen to you speak for an hour at a time about anything. And that audience is loyal. That’s what I’m doing here 5 years later.
