Hey Patrons!

Thanks in part to your support, I'm working on increasing the amount of content I produce. I'm going to continue to do the two monthly Q&As here on Patreon. But I'm also going to post weekly videos on YouTube—helping to fill the void left by Manifest Zone. These will be available to the general public; in the past all my public content has been on the blog and I'd like to try a difference format. But I'm still considering the ideal LENGTH of these videos, and also the sort of content I want to focus on. What is it you'd like to see from ME, specifically? Are you more interested in long deep dives or in shorter, higher level stuff? I'll definitely be providing a range of content, so select everything that sounds interesting—one topic doesn't come at the expense of another. I just want to get a high-level sense of what sort of things you all would be interested in.

In general I'm thinking about relatively short videos—ten to fifteen minutes—but if you all want to see longer videos, that's something I want to know! One thought I had was to create some content that could help people just starting an Eberron campaign—either for players (helping someone unfamiliar with the setting get into it) or DMs, talking about hooks, themes, and how I set up an adventure campaign. Another option is deep lore dives, which could explore monsters, planes, moments in history, or interesting NPCs. Another thing I'm considering is walking you through my process as I create a new setting. Again, these things aren't mutually exclusive, and they are aimed at a broad audience. But I'd love to know what interests YOU.

Covering various interesting sites and regions would be a nice topic for videos.

Manifest zone was amazing, it really helped me understand aspects of lore and the world. I’d say it’s a great model to follow in terms of length and depth. Also, some topics that might not get many votes in this forum would be good for people new to Eberron, like the ones on starting a campaign and creating characters, so that depends on if these are for more general public availability

Another topic good for newbies: revisiting some of the amazing work from prior editions like Dragons of Eberron and Sharn City of Towers. People who started with 5e tend to be very unlikely to read material from earlier editions

I think incorporating the old Dungeon Magazines and the Dragon Magazines such as 3.5e and 4e that included Eberron content and adventure hooks would definitely be helpful in either 5e or could be another system to run Eberron in. Maybe something similar to that but in video form?

I think like 10-15 minutes is the prime YouTube algorithm video length, right? Not sure if that's true anymore or not but that's what everyone used to say

One topic I would like is about how to use published adventures in Eberron. There is not a huge amount of adventures for the setting, reskinning material from elsewhere is almost a must

Probably a long shot, but some more siberspace content! A deep dive video for each moon would be great! History, geography, inhabitants, civilization, plot hooks, etc.

Topic: How to design an Eldritch Machine. For example, the Voyage of the Golden Dragon doesn't describe the Airships the way you do, so how would YOU rig an airship to fall that isn't just a case of smashing the Khyber Shard? How would YOU make a tower fall in Sharn?
