I’m reading the Quickstone chapter, and seek clarification: The houses in Oldtown were sculpted from wet quickstone — walls, rooms, doorways, roofs, all one structure with no seams or joins — and then fixed? When discussing the newer buildings in The Square and Main Street, it mentions façades of wood or native brick over quickstone walls. Again, were those walls formed as a single sheet of the wet, then fixed? Are there no fixed quickstone BRICKS? No brickworks inside the quickstone quarry? No one in town trying to export fixed quickstone bricks to the east?
