Hey Inner Circle patrons!

Next week is all about the Planes. I have a longer article about a plane that hasn't received much attention... but I also want to address general questions about the planes (whether the planes of Eberron or the Dusk of Phoenix) throughout the week. So: any questions?

As always, thank you for your support!

I’d be super curious to hear anything you have about working Irian or especially Daanvi into an Eberron campaign. They seem a little abstract or too benevolent (respectively) to be antagonistic, and there’s just not a ton of material on either.

Actually, let’s add Risia to the list as well. I’m struggling to think of hooks beyond “a manifest zone brings on a harsh winter” and “you can probably stumble into the plane from Frostfell.”

Anything you can spare on the planetouched races would be a treat as well.

I'd love to read about how the gith survive on Kythri. With how chaotic it is, how do permanent establishments exist?

To me the planes fall into two categories: Easy to use, lots of material available (translates cleanly to similar concepts in other settings): Dal Quor, Dolurrh, Fernia, Kythri, Lamannia, Mabar, Shavarath, Thelanis, Xoriat Difficult to use, not much equivalent material available that I’m familiar with, and I would love more player/GM-focused content: Daanvi, Irian, Risia, Syrania

One repeat question, did the effects of the Mournland bleed into other planes where Cyran manifests zones existed?

Jarrod Taylor

We know of Mabar and Irian crystals, and dusk and dawnshards have been mentioned, are there other planar shards or crystals, and do dragonshards operate differently on other planes?

Jarrod Taylor

Eberron has various Ages in its history, are there any planar milestones tracked on other planes? (I would think Xoriat natives paint the invasion quite differently and probably see the experiment as mostly a success)

Have law-based races like modrons or formians ever found their way into Eberron? Usually they do plane-hopping to study it, if so, did they get changed when all hell broke loose like everybody else or was their connection with the law so strict that they got spared? If i can ask a second question... would they most likely be found in Droaam or in the 5 Nations? I mean they are usually considered "monsters", but i feel like such a rigid mind would find it to be ill suited to a "flexible" place like Droaam.

How understood are the various Planar connections by houses & nations? ie. Does Zilargo openly acknowledge their connection to Thelanis & exchange ambassadors? Does Lyrandar or Orion include manifest zone maps & updates in their services? Would anyplace like Arcanix or Sharn require arcane practitioners to file an, 'enviromental impact statement' for any significant rituals? Are there any zones that deliberately function as a port or crossroads the way Stormhome & Sharn do?

How do Mabar and the Plane of Shadows both exist in the same cosmology while remaining distinct? What is the difference in themes between these two Planes? Can the Plane of Shadows have its own Manifest Zones?
