Content

Greetings, Patrons!

This Saturday I'll be holding a Deep Dive Q&A -- digging into a particular topic for 30ish minutes and then taking questions on that topic. Since it's happening this Saturday, we don't have a lot of time to settle on a topic. I did a quick poll on the Discord, and here's some of the ideas presented there. There's a few topics I didn't add to the list, either because they are TOO deep for something like this (the Kar'lassa are great, but I don't want to spend an hour on them) or because I don't actually have depths to dive into. I'd love to explore the Barren Sea, so example, but I'd have to spend time creating that content... as opposed to something like the Dreaming Dark or Lord of Blades, where I can expand on what already exists.

Clarifying a few topics...

Humans of Q'barra would look at the human cultures in the region, as much of the previous focus has been on the scales.

Gangs of Sharn would explore how I'd run a campaign that starts on the mean streets of Sharn. I've called out that I wouldn't plan such an arc as a 1-20 campaign, despite what FotA suggests; this is what I would (and have) done with this concept.

High Level Stories would explore how I handle high level adventures, both in terms of campaign planning and concretely at the adventure level.

Thanks! Whatever we pick is what I'll discuss Saturday. And please, post more ideas in the comments and like the ideas others suggest in the comments that you'd like to see. I won't use those here, but I will draw on those ideas for future months!

In other spaces you have posted Monsters in Eberron and Today in Eberron's history. Either format, a creature or a time, would be a fun topic for a Deep Dive.

What if I want a high-level espionage campaign where the main antagonist is the Dreaming Dark?

Lhazaar Principalities please!! I'd especially like to know more about what the mainland principalities look like

One of the players has a family member as a pirate, linked with the LP, so exploring this would be a huge bonus. They are also due to explore the Mournland amd hints that the Lord of Blades is assembling his own adamantine army of warforged, and this will be about the level 14 mark (they are just shy of level 10, currently in Sharn, tasked with the extraction of the Daask in Sharn.

Come on everyone! There are two clear options! How to manage the difficulties of providing high level challenges in Eberron, in a world without gods and remote planar influences Also espionage campaigns are the best for combining the noir and pulp aspects of Eberron. let's get them over the line!
